Don't believe anything these people tell you when it comes to monthly service. They have zero problems with taking your money and giving you nothing in return.
October of 2021 I walked into Restore Hyper Wellness in Westlake, Tx. I enrolled in a monthly unlimited cryotherapy subscription for just under $120/month. I went in a few times the first month, but changed jobs shortly afterwards and wasn’t able to make it in due to my work schedule conflicting with their very limited hours.
The next time I made it in was a few months later and they had changed their terms of service on me and had switched from the unlimited service I had signed up for, to a credit based service in which I had already lost credits, which expired, despite having paid for them.
I tried to cancel my membership that day, but was convinced to stay enrolled and used my credit on additional add-on services that were then available.
After saving up more credits to use, I made it in one more time in June 2022 and what credits I had on various services they offered and was satisfied with the services.
Today, October 28th of 2022, after a year of paying them a monthly subscription, I just went back in for the first time, having spent $480 in membership fees since June and was informed that they have changed their membership agreement AGAIN, without my consent and no longer allow the credits to be used on the additional services that I was hoping to use.
A completely smug, unhelpful and unapologetic “new” manager, Samson Rotimi (sp?), refused to help in any meaningful way and I don’t even feel comfortable using this facility for the core services they still do offer, for SOME of the money I’ve spent... not the "expired" credits of course.
10 out of 10, would not recommend any busy person a membership at this place. They will give you a set of terms and later move the goal posts on you, then they’ll treat you like it’s your fault. They are...
Read moreI have left messages and talked to several employees since December and have given them a chance to remedy what they didn’t completely wrong and illegal. $2800 was bought for facials under my name with my ex and I have been in there to get them once the next time I go in there they change it over to several other girls names with no explanation so $2800 was spent on facial packages under my name and the illegally let several others use it and don’t seem to care or have any responsibility. Better Business Bureau will be reported by the way I’ve been in there several times never once do they wipe any of the on that people use, which is disgusting and the compression sleeves and everything else allowing people to get in and out them and they don’t even wipe them down. This place has absolutely no way to leave a message there a legitimate and I cannot believe that 20 is stolen from me I would absolutely never recommend this place. They absolutely have no idea how to conduct business and...
Read moreUpdate after 3 months of regular visits:
As an active (regular exercise, bike, water&snow sports) middle age dude with plenty of aches and pains (herniated disks, worn shoulders and knees) I’ve found the cryo, red light therapy, bi-monthly intramuscular shot and a monthly IV is my jam. It’s been a total game changer. Not only do I have very little soreness after working out, but with the cryo my daily energy levels and mood have only gotten better. I’ll someday try the NAD for a real jolt.
I’ve been in several locations and Restore Westlake is by far the nicest one I’ve seen. The VIP lounge is nice and quiet, with plenty of extra comforts. They have all the services: hyperbaric chamber, red light therapy, skin therapy, IV drip, cryo, I know I’m forgetting something….
The staff is friendly and very attentive.
I’ll continue to...
