Annie Mess is amazing!!! She is a true artist and professional. I am about to go for my second session on the second tat she is doing for me and both are incredible. On the first one I just had a rough idea of what I wanted and what she drew up and the finished work far exceeded all expectations. The one she is working on now is a portrait from a painting I found of a woman wearing a feather headdress and I am blown away with how good its coming out. Her shading and use of color is second to none. I live 5 1/2 hours from Austin but it is well worth the drive. Plus the atmosphere and cleanliness of the shop are both excellent. I recommend Annie to everyone I talk to and get compliments from everyone who sees her work. I can't wait...

So I read a few reviews before writing this one. I went in a couple times both times I was ready to get what I wanted. Both times I was told I needed to email in to the artist and show what I wanted done , size and location..i did so...only one replied back as he was better at Aztec art. But when I wrote back to confirm dates and if he could do all 3 in one sitting. I never heard back...and still hadn't heard back from the original one which he told me he would write back..... I see a large number of Walk in's not having any issues....Wondering why I can't get mine done...Hope this is looked at by the owner...i gave 2 stars cause at least they were nice...

Came to Austin from Oregon on vacation and figured I'd get some ink therapy. Gave Justin a sample picture of my idea, but told him to do his own version of it. Came back within two hours later; loved his take on it and he was done in under an hour! And im very happy with the finished product, he was extremely helpful with both tattoo questions as well as just giving me pointers on places to visit while I was in town, highly proffessional, clean as well as just being a straight up rad dude!
