Let me start off by saying I don't leave one star. Reviews But boy, oh boy, I've worked in the customer service industry for 22 years, And on the front of house manager for a restaurant in the neighborhood, And the manager that was on duty today at 2:25 PM was the meanest manager I've ever seen a customer asked to see something out of the glass case while I was standing in line and the line. Was not that long, I've seen longer lines at the Ross in Pflugerville. And she said she was too busy and she had to get in line to see the item that was in the glass case. Meanwhile, she wasn't even doing anything. She was just standing there in front of the store now. I finally got to the register like I said not a big deal. The line was not that long. And I went to pay with cash. The cashier didn't have any change. She said that she asked the manager on duty for change and that she still hasn't gotten it for her OK. So she didn't have any change, so I went to pay with exact change And that made the situation a little bit harder, cause she had already put in the $20 and now that I was giving her exact change she had to go back in the system so she called the manager over and she started explaining to the manager of what was going on and I was trying to help her explain. The manager literally waved her hand at me and shushed me. So at that point I was kind of upset and I was just like flabbergasted by what she just did, but I wanted to get out of the store so I paid for my shirt and left. I work in the area and I dropped lunch off. Cause I work at a restaurant in the area. Just the other day for the employees at that store. I like the store. There's another manager in there who is the nicest lady i've ever met And I wish I remembered her name. She is a younger Hispanic lady and she's great, but the lady today. Older Hispanic lady very mean very rude and terrible customer service. So like I say I would love to change this to a 5 star review but she definitely needs to adjust her attitude if she wants to have any business from this...
Read moreThe customer service here is horrible. I went to return a shirt last week. I gave the girl my shirt and receipt and then she gives me a voucher and I told her I wanted my money back and she said I needed the card I used to pay but since I didn't have it with me I told her to cancel the return and would come back another time. She gave me a face and gave me back the shirt with a new receipt that was for the canceled transaction (or so I thought). When I go back (3 days later), I show my original receipt and debit card and they give me a voucher again and I told her I wanted my money back but she said I couldn't get it because the system wouldn't let her do it. Seriously? She said that the new receipt the previous lady gave me showed that I had bought the shirt again with the voucher I received when I first returned the shirt. So basically the previous lady instead of cancelling my return (transaction), she used the voucher to rebuy the shirt that I was returning. Seriously people? She didn't even tell me she was doing that. She knew I would go back another time.
We called the manager but she didn't do anything about it. They kept insisting I had already used the previous voucher and wouldn't give me my money back. They didn't believe me but the previous lady was there but they refused to ask her and bring her into the conversation. Worst customer service in my life! Never going there. Plus, that Marisa employee had a really bad attitude.
It's not even about the money, is about the service. If the receipt says that I can return something within 30 days and get my money back, then that's what I expect. If they made a mistake with my transaction that is not my fault. Also, they never owned up to their mistake and kept blaming it on me. Worst...
Read moreLots of clothes and shoes well sorted out in sections around the store. Easy to find the general types of clothing you want (pants, shirts, dresses). And the shoe department is massive! Like other Ross stores, prices are good, but you need to hunt thru the racks to find what you need because there's no merchandising--plain cotton dresses will be hung next to a work dress. But that's your exchange for the prices you get. And while this one is definitely nicer than some of the other ones in town, I found dresses tangled with each other because they were falling of their hangers, and it hadn't been fixed by staff. For me, this is not a quick stop shop. It takes time to search for what I want, as opposed to a major department store. So if you are opposed to that, then Ross isn't for you. Parking is easy and it's in a great part of town to make this a good stop to include in a day...
