I will preface this review by saying everyone i worked with was perfectly friendly and sweet (which is what makes my poor customer experience all the more confusing)
I had a fairly frustrating experience here with my Dysport injections. I took advantage of a sale they were having to purchase Dysport for $3 a unit (amazing). My usual injector typically uses just over 50 units, so I purchased 50 units, thinking that would be plenty. When I went in for my appointment, my injector told me that I would need about 100 units and that Dysport units are quantified differently than Botox units. He mentioned that some injectors dont know this and talk about them the same way.
This put an odd taste in my mouth because I now had to purchase more units at full price if I wanted to achieve the results I was used to. Although I was still saving money in the long run, I went ahead and made the additional purchase. Since this was my first time being treated here, I explained that my right side is a bit more stubborn and often requires a slightly different amount. He said that, since it was his first time working with me, if it wasn’t perfect in 2 weeks, I could come back for a touch-up. This is a very normal customer service experience with injectables—when you are being treated at a new place, they will often offer free touch-ups.
Two weeks went by, and I noticed there were a couple of spots that were unbalanced near my hairline. I was expecting a follow-up... nothing. So I had to call and reschedule.
I went in for my touch-up with a different injector, and they told me they do NOT offer free touch-ups and that my previous injector never said I could come back for one. It was very clear I needed a touch-up, so Janelle advocated for me. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth phone calls, they finally agreed to it.
I’m still not happy with the results and will definitely NOT go back here for an injection. I feel they were banking on people not understanding how Dysport units work and having to pay full price for extra units. Then, not following up with me, leaving me with poor results without seeming to care about it... it all left me with a nasty taste in my mouth....

I was in the technology industry, but decided a career change was best for me. I considered quite a few programs before signing up. I took on the program for LHR in July 2022 for the online 40 hour theory course, and then completed my body sites for both laser hair technician and senior laser hair technician licenses.

I felt supported throughout my whole process and journey of becoming a professional laser hair technician. Resume and cover letter writing is not my forte, but Aaron was really great making the job hunt less stressful for me. So very grateful for everyone at TLATA!

Read moreI used this Academy last year to do my micro blading course and right after I finished my dad had passed away so I went through a very deep depression so I reenrolled for the June 2022 class and I wasn’t able to make it and I was contacted by the admissions office saying that I could sign up for the August class and when I emailed and called them to inquire that I would like to re-enroll so my $2000 does not go to waste they denied me and said that the offer still doesn’t stand. The woman on the phone was very rude and it’s not even be able to re-enroll in for my whole $2000 to go to waste is not OK and I would never recommend this establishment to anyone. I had a really great experience the first time but the fact that this company is willing to take that much money and not even reschedule me to enroll in the other class after offering it to me and I even have a voicemail and then having calling back literally two days later and having someone be very rude to me and not even do what they said they were going to do just threw me off.
