Update: they removed the Med pizzas from their menu (perfect for 2 people) which really sucks! You can only get a small or large pizza now. Beer Mates are also gone now - and yes, the beer mates with cheese hits soooo different than just getting a small cheese pizza. I am so bummed it’s gone from the menu :,(

My husband and I have been huge fans of Pinthouse for years. Their beers are on point EVERY time, and their pizzas are the perfect balance of flavor, dough ratio, and texture. BUT I don’t recommend going during peak dining times though - every time we do, the pizzas are sloppy and not as good, as if they are rushing and forgot an ingredient in the dough or something. Seems to happen every time we go during peak hours.

Also, their seating at this location and Burnet are a nightmare! I miss when (during peak covid times) they used to have online waitlists and texts when your table is ready. Seriously, it's annoying to show up with more than 2 friends and have to hover over tables hoping to grab one before another group does. Then, when you're eating, you can't help but notice people eyeing you as they wait for you to leave so they can nab your table. Therefore, we stopped making this a "more than 3 friends" type place because sometimes it's so difficult to get a big enough spot for everyone to sit together.

Recommendations: their ranch to dip for your pizza is a must. My favorite pizza is Ohh Lala - sweet and savory. And if you want more cheese and bread, get their Beer Mates with cheese... it's worth all...

Love this place! Quickly one of my biggest go-to places in all of Austin = easy free parking, counter service where they drop off at table, delicious and reasonable priced food, and great beer! Also worth noting - their ranch dressing is Crack Ranch, some of the best ever.

Pro tip: ask for a cup of ranch. I’ve been paying $3-4 for a few sides of small ranches that is 1/2 the amount of a cup for same price. Can’t believe no one ever offered this to me as they see me ordering 3-4 sides of ranch… oh well

My go to is = pepperoni, pineapple, and ricotta cheese. I do wish they were consistent with the ricotta. Sometimes you get a ton, and sometimes just a tiny amount. I prefer the Ton

The pizza roll is 100/10. Incredible. Crack again.

Their Canadian bacon is the nice small slices vs the chopped up kind = great to me

Service is always on point. Very friendly and swift service. No one hounding you begging for you to order since you order at counter, or hovering over you to leave when done. It’s chilllllll, just the way I prefer unless a fancy place

Do yourself a favor and try the Brewery location too. That one is also equally amazing with a whole different style pizza! Thick crust over there

Also — electric jellyfish is a phenomenal beer, even if a tad pricey. It’s amazing. I wish they did more heffe style beers, as my gf prefers those

Let me start off by saying I really like their pizza. However their customer service was so offensive recently that I won't be back. We ordered pizza for pick up and we're told it would be about an hour. When that hour arrived we went in to see if it was done. We tried to park in the pick up spots but all 6 were full cars that were empty. So I assume these people were eating inside. Our pizza wasn't ready and when we told them about the pick up spots they laughed and said they couldn't do anything about that. When another 25 minutes went by with no pizza I went in to find out what was going on. I was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. When I complained about the time I was told they were busy. I asked to speak to the manager and she went to tell him. She told me he would meet me by the pick up counter. After another 10 minutes and more requests to see the manager I asked for a refund. Miraculously my pizzas came out right then. After another 5 minutes of her "checking" my order it was finally ready for pick up. The manager never made an appearance. When I commented on it i was told once again that he was busy and received a snotty comment from one of the checkers. There was another gentleman waiting with me to see the manager. We both think they need to hire a manager who isn't afraid to face...
