I've had many pleasant experiences visiting here. It's definitely an excellent spot for tennis players with knowledgeable staff. A 5 star review is long overdue.
I've been able to demo and find the Head Speed MP works very well for me. They didn't have it in stock, but no worries, I just ordered it from Tennis Warehouse instead and they had no problems.
I ended up getting that racket restrung here and they did an amazing job. They even pointed out that Tennis Warehouse has tensions a bit lower than they should be.
I bought another Head Speed MP that cracked. They said, "try sending it in to Tennis Warehouse for a warranty claim." It worked! This saved me like $200.
Finally, I had lifestyle credit from my company I needed to spend and I wanted to try to get some different shoes. The Wilson Rush Pro 4.5s were just a bit too big for my left foot, but they showed me how to tie runners' lace, which I never heard of before. That did the trick. The shoes have worked incredibly for me, I feel super nimble with them on.
Overall, nothing but great experiences here. It's always a no pressure experience because they know they build trust with their customers, like they have with me. I highly recommend this place for...
Read moreIn serious need of new strings I read a few great reviews, decided to roll the dice, and drove over to The Tennis Shop at 2:30 today. Unsure of the turnaround, I was prepared to say goodbye to my racquet and leave it overnight like I've done at other shops in the past. As I walked in I was immediately greeted by Trent, the owner, who was busy stringing a queue of other racquets. After he helped me pick out a fresh set of strings I asked if he'd be able to string my racquet while I waited. Despite the queue, and without much hesitation, he gladly snuck me in after he finished his current string job. Trent really went above and beyond to ensure I'd have my racquet for this evenings match. While I hung out he was more than happy to discuss the Yonex racquets I'd been eyeing! After just one visit Trent has earned my business and I'll definitely be coming back here for all of my tennis needs. If you're looking for a clean and bright store, competitive pricing, an awesome selection, and top notch professional customer sevice and knowledge, then this is your shop. Check them out, you'll be...
Read moreBe careful shopping here. Whatever you buy- it's final. They do not take returns or exchanges and do not post that or discuss that with their customers. We bought a pair of shoes here that after one wearing caused pain in my wife's hips and right ankle meaning these were no longer wearable options for her. The associate was dismissive with a simple no returns, no store credit, no option answer. So now we are stuck with a pair of shoes worn once that are basically just going to be thrown in the trash.
If you aren't 1000% sure what you are buying is a keeper, I wouldn't buy from here. Tennis is a feel sport. Your racket, your shoes, all if it- you dont know if it works until you get out and use it. Spending this kind of money on a guess and then being stuck with that decision no matter what the result is seems pretty dumb. I personally wouldn't pay a pack of gum from these people again. That lack of customer service is astounding to me and does not show an interest in building a customer...
