While I appreciate the small town favor of staying open later to fill my son's prescription, I did not appreciate being told "to check out while they fill the prescription because they needed to get out of there." It was literally 5:40 when I got back in the car and they closed at 5:30. There was no empathy for me when I told them I just needed to grab some items for my sick baby and they were the only pharmacy around. I understand these days are long. I understand they "needed" to leave, but what about a distressed, sick mom looking to find some simple comfort for her child which was having such a hard time breathing we had to take him to the Dr. The only appointment we could get was later in the day. We support small businesses every chance we get. We have our own small business, and I would never, ever push a customer in need out the door like they did to me. I gave them 3 stars for the effort and I'm thankful for that because my baby does feel better but I ended up going to Food Lion to grab everything else I needed which included about another $30 of stuff. They're loss, I suppose. I hope nobody ever gets treated like that ever again. I even told the sales associate at the front counter I didn't appreciate being rushed out of there. She...

Been coming here monthly for about a year.. I’m writing a review for the first time now because the New Owner— Matt— is really that Nice of a guy: He not only answered my call at 1:45pm after closing early at 12pm and sending all staff home due to inclimate weather, but proceeded to immediately process a refill that I didn’t call ahead about (supposed to give 24 hour notice for refills) and then let me in to pick up/pay for said prescription. As the owner let me out, an older man was trying the door not noticing the sign saying closed.. Without missing a beat he lets the man right in asking if he needed to pick up his prescription. so I knew I had to write a review on the shift in “vibe” of this Pharmacy over the last month or so since the change in ownership.The staff has always been nice enough but now they seem more relaxed and happier, less stressed and it’s easier/smoother than ever to pick up my prescriptions. We are from TN and I had a partial prescription filled while on vacation because I left my medicine at home. I had it called into the wrong Beach Pharmacy (another 45 minutes away from our campground), but Matt was kind enough to have it transferred and fill it for me, although I had over heard the pharmacy tech tell another customer that they were already very, very busy. He even called when they didn’t have the 40 mg and asked if it was ok if he gave me two 20 mg pills instead and had a price for me over the phone. I looked at my husband and said the pharmacy at home would have never called to ask me if that was ok or bothered to try to transfer the script for me. The service here is amazing! I was done in less than 30 minutes and I appreciate the hospitality because that’s very hard to find nowadays. I am a nurse and have had to deal with a lot of pharmacies over the years and it’s hard to find a pharmacy that has compassion...
