Outer Banks Boil Company recently catered a dinner for our party of 12 at a vacation rental and it was amazing! Right from the start, their communication was outstanding. They were proactive in sending a reminder email ahead of our trip and ensured everything was on track by texting a few hours before the dinner to confirm our time slot.
Our chef, Anthony, was a gem. He took complete charge of the evening, allowing us to relax and enjoy our drinks while he prepared a feast. And boy, what a feast it was! We indulged in the classic boil featuring jumbo shrimp, andouille sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, and onions. To this, we added some delicious cornbread and their succulent bbq pork. Each mouthful was packed with flavor, every ingredient expertly cooked to perfection.
Anthony ensured we had ample time to savor our meal. After we finished, he swiftly cleaned up, leaving no trace of the feast that had taken place. He thoughtfully packed the few leftovers and left our table spotless, ready for our game night.
In summary, our experience with Outer Banks Boil Company was nothing short of amazing. Their attention to detail, delicious food, and impeccable service made our evening unforgettable. One of the standout aspects of our experience was the sheer convenience. We didn't need to coordinate multiple cars to transport our group to a restaurant, only to wait an hour for a table (trust me, we did this two nights later). We didn't have to stress over designated drivers for the journey back home, either. This added layer of comfort and convenience made the entire experience more enjoyable and relaxed, allowing us to focus on the moment and each other. I'd absolutely order from Outer Banks Boil...
Read moreIf you are going to read one review on outerbanks boil you found the right one. There is no need to rank the food, if every review is a 5 star you can bet that not only is the food good its consistent. Let me put it this way, I will not be coming to the outer banks next year because of Outerbanks Boil, but I will choose Avon over the other villages because of Outebanks Boil!!! Now for the important part. I didn't realize that I cooked it at home until I picked it up. If you can pour 2 cups of water in the pot they give you you can cook it. This is where the service came in, the owner took extra time to make sure I understood how to cook the boil. Which again is pouring 2 cups of water into a pot, (I am a slow learner). Finally you can order and it is preferred to order on line. But you can't order online the day you pick up, you have call in the order, or drive and walk-in, which is what I did. It only took him a few minutes for him.to make up the pot. Finally the order was huge, definetly enough for 3 people maybe 4 we had the sausage and shrimp it was great. Thank you I...

We ordered the basic boil and added on clams and crab legs. You can design your own menu. The food was great and tasted amazing! So fresh and delicious. The spice blend was top notch!! Chris was excellent. He came to our house cooked, served and cleaned up. Boil Boys enjoyed talking to Chris as he cooked . He also shared stories about OBX with the whole family. We ask Chris to give our little ones a Blackbeard treasure map we made ahead. This extended our Boil adventure to the next day when they found buried treasure on the beach . Already looking forward to next year...
