I want to set a couple of these reviews straight because I'm reasonably sure the owners are aware of the problems and really worked to fix them within the past year or so. As of July 2019 they have a sanitation rating of 98.5 out of 100, which is a bit of a governmental rebuttal to the reviews that say that it was dirty. The food was great. I ordered their Wonton soup and steamed dumplings. Neither had any strange meat in it. My entire family loved it as well. The service was quick and the people were very nice. This place is certainly not your gourmet Chinese place, it's definitely the Chinese equivalent of fast food, but it was fairly cheap and tasted delicious. The food was very hot, even after traveling the distance back to our house in Waves. A little side note as well - when we walked in, one of the chefs was eating dinner at a booth (we came in around 9pm and apologized for interrupting his meal) and I immediately thought "well if he's ok eating it, it must be fine...
Read moreI can honestly and without reservation say that this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. No kidding, no exaggeration, the absolute worst. The hot and sour soup had no flavor at all except for when you happened to bite into an English pea, yes an English in hot and sour soup. Everyone had a good laugh at my spicy beef that has NO spice at all and was really a big serving of onions and green peppers with 8 or 9 sad little strips of beef. The "fried" rice was just a weird yellow rice with no fried rice taste. The Mongolian beef was served over the weird yellow rice and had 4 or 5 little pieces of bland beef. The crispy shrimp while not crispy at all had good flavor but the heavy breading wasn't completely done. Even the chips for the soup and fortune cookies were stale. Amazingly there is not a single positive i can come up with except it was close the...
Read moreThis was one of the only places open later in the day on the 4th of July! There was a pretty decent amount of people so we expected it to be pretty good. Family of 4 that ordered differently; seasame chicken with noodles, lobster fried rice, chicken fried rice, and chicken wings. The noodles were terrible. But they also had the sauce from the chicken on them. My husband enjoyed the chicken, but we threw the noodles away. The fried rice was okay, but paying more for lobster fried rice and receiving ONE piece of lobster that was the size of a large shrimp - which was not good at all - don’t waste your up charge. The only thing I would recommend was the chicken wings. They were good.
No tap water, warm bottled water, setup looked like buffet, but was empty with...
