Whoever answers the phone is extremely rude and impatient and hung up on me. I am a manager myself and would never have such poor customer service. I cannot believe the audacity some people have. Definitely not how you handle yourself at work. Due to the covid pendemic I need assistance as most of us do . I've called multiple times and knew what documents to bring. When arrived i filled out my paperwork and waited. When finally assisted I needed an additional document that I wasn't told I needed the previous 2 times I called. I told another lady I have it on my phone and if i could email it so I don't have to come back and she said yes and gave me the email address. I sent the document and waited more,(10min till closing). She left to speak to the gal who assisted me(I'm assuming) and came back and said I needed to come back with a paper copy which I don't understand why when she told me I could email it and she herself had it on email and could've printed it out for me. I'm assuming they knew I had no access to print it out with now 5 min till closing(5pm) and didn't want to assist me any longer. they had all documents and now I have to come back in 2weeks on my next day off and then wait additional 3 weeks for a decision because they didn't want to do their job.i was there since 4! Management needs to take a closer look at the employees they hire for such sensitive positions . Read moreThey help the the community folks who need help. They do everything in their budget or want the state will allow them to do they go above and beyond their job . Were not just a pay check to them. One employee gave me money to eat onone day out of her own pocket. Because I was to hot to make to the food bank less than 2 miles away and apologized she couldn't take me their her self she had no driver's license and I found out she's a volunteer 5 days a week .. she don't get paid to help the poor she dose it cause she cares. Don't need to get paid to help someone out you do it because your care about your community people. Someone helped me when I really needed it years ago. She made me want to give back to good people who need a heads up sometime, I help cause I care not because I need a pay check. I just hope I can help out at least1 person a day. When they come back and say you don't get paid nearly enough to go to the length you did to help me everyone else gave up on me but not you , you you did everything you could , even help me out when y'all were closed. Thank to all the voulnteres there . You let us know were not just a paycheck to you . You really care about about us you gotta care you don't get paid to help someone, you do it because you want to make a difference...
Read moreI APPLIED BACK IN JULY FOR UTILITY ASSISTANCE AND MY APPLICATION WAS JUST PICKED UP BY A CASEWORKER A MONTH LATER AND I HAD A SHUT OFF NOTICE AND STILL DO I TURNED IN ALL THE DOCUMENTS THAT WERE REQUESTED OF ME TO MY CASEWORKER LATOYA AND A DAY BEFORE MY DEADLINE SHE LEAVES ME A MESSAGE TELLING ME SHE NEEDED ONE MORE DOCUMENT SO I TURNED IN THE DOCUMENT ON MONDAY SHE LEFT THE MESSAGE FRIDAY AND I DIDNT GET THE MESSAGE UNTIL AFTER THEY WERE ALREADY CLOSED AND APPARENTLY MY DEADLINE WAS FRIDAY SO I CONTACTED HER MONDAY TELLING HER I WILL GET THE DOCUMENT FOR HER AND TURN IT IN THAT DAY AND I TOLD HER I THOUGHT I TURNED IN EVERYTHING, WELL SHE TELLS ME AFTER ALL OF THIS THAT I HAVE TO REAPPLY FOR ONE DOCUMENT ONE, BECAUSE I PASSED MY DEADLINE BY ONE DAY JUST ONE AND I EXPLAINED TO HER I CANT AFFORD TO DO THAT BECAUSE I HAVE A CUT OFF NOTICE AND ITS GOING TO GET CUT OFF, AND SHE SAID THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO SO I GUESS ME AND MY FOUR CHILDREN WONT BE ABLE TO FLUSH OUR TOILET OR TAKE SHOWERS WHICH IS DISGUSTING, I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED NO SUPERVISOR HAS REACHED OUT TO ME YET AND I GUESS THEY HAVE RESPECT OF PERSON AND HELP WHO THEY CHOOSE, ILL BE CONTACTING THE NEWS NEXT SINCE I CANT GET THIS...
