If I could put zero stars I would. I got a pawn loan on my AR and 1st went to pick it up without calling 1st only to hear the person that handles the firearms and background checks was not there to get it processed.. so since then I have tried twice both times ii called before hand to make sure the firearms person would be there after the first visit to pick it up didnt happen and I drove from far west valley. Today was my 3rd visit to them to pick it up and after being told to come in the gun guy would be there I get in the shop and again I'm told he's not there today he "took a personal day" but i called and was told to come all the way down to get it.
But here's whays strange they decide to get my phone number this time to call me and make sure he's there as if the calls meant anything before lol and the lady wanted to hang onto my pawn ticket assuming I'd make it back tomorrow after telling her I had to work is ehy I was in today and called to be sure I could get it today on my day off.....so I of coarse said no because my luck they would loose my ticket and I doubt I can back out there until next week at this point on my next day off to deal with this. Also strange is the woman that took in my AR was there today and why would she be unable to process my background check when she handled the loan on it when I brpught it in? They need to either (A) hire a 2nd person to process gun pawns or (B) replace the guy that is never there because I want my firearms back and should not be getting the run around wasting my time and gas telling me to comtothe person tge only person who can give it back is notworkever??? I feel like filing a police report because they are playing games and trying to keep my pawn slip and my protextion. In case of liability if i get harmed withput having my protection while they...
Read moreZero stars if I could. This is a ghetto little pawn shop that tries to detached itself from community that they operate in. Inexperienced employees (likely family members) that just make a phone call to the "manager"(who's never available) for every single inquiry. Terrible business model, horrible experience! TRAIN YOUR STAFF! This place should not be listed on any website as a reputable FFL.
The reason for my visit was to have a firearm transferred. They are relatively close to where I work so it seemed like a descent choice, how bad could it be?
When you enter, you have to be buzzed in like a prison or something. They are NOT a knowledgeable FFL. They DO NOT know the difference between a pistol frame and a grip module. They cannot tell you what a FCU in a P365 is, gun dealers should know this. All they know is that it looks like a gun. Not all handgun parts are the same. As I'm standing there, I'm hearing them give terrible advice about gun inquiries.. "you can carry it anywhere with no license or nothing". So when they get in trouble for having a pistol in a school zone or at a restaurant that serves alcohol, I bet they won't be so helpful then.
It's a shame when the public knows more about ATF policies than a federal licensed dealer. There should be more done to ensure that these FFLs are up to date on their knowledge of the industry, so they are not making silly errors that create road blocks for Arizonans exercising their 2nd Ammendment rights. Lesson learned. I will NEVER be wasting another moment or dollar in this little run down...
Read moreCelia is wonderful. The other people not so much. My deceased brother pawned one of my Dads guns and received $300. I went to check after he passed and they said they still had the gun there. I called and they told us we could retrieve it for $600. We got there and all of a sudden it was $800. I paid a $200 deposit and they ran an FBI check. It was clean after a couple of days so they called me and said it was ready to pick up. Never did they mention a payment plan. 2 Weeks ago they called and said they were gonna put it back on the floor as we didn't make our monthly payment which they never mentioned. So I gave them $200 more. Do to circumstances beyond my control we did not make it up there until today. So we needed another FBI check. I checked on the FBI website and it said most times checks are immediate or at the very most 3 days. These people told me the check would not come back until the 5th of May. We will not be here as we are snowbirds leaving on May 1st. They claim they charge a 25% restock fee. We had paid $400. So we should have gotten $300 back. They gave us $200. We have to leave. Celia tried to say something and the woman who we were dealing with said abruptly, they are leaving, don't say anything. We got ripped off for sure. Lord only knows what they will charge for this gun. They have already ripped us off for $100 and I am sure the person who buys it will be ripped off for more. Don't do...
