Kitchen & Bath, Etc. — Local services in Bainbridge Township

December 2022 If I had one word to sum up our new kitchen and bathroom remodel in our century home that we’ve owned since 1976 it would be WOW! Emeil (owner) took us thru his design with zero pressure to act. As a designer myself, I understood exactly what he presented us and what was involved, or so I thought. It took me a couple weeks to get over “sticker shock” and I am extremely glad I did.

The professionalism and expertise of Emeil and his entire staff amazed us. Dave our project manager was an expert working with our not so square and not so level old home. He is a master tradesman with unbelievable skills required for a perfect finish to our two projects.

Emeil also has an amazing electrician in Rob. He expertly weaved new wiring thru the walls and ceilings for all our new appliances in their new locations. Doing so with little disturbance to our home plus adding additional circuits so their never could be any chance for an electrical overloads.

The ceramic tile team was most cooperative when we asked to have several accent tiles switched out in the kitchen. Our bathroom tile work was quite a bit more intricate. The workmanship was perfect and worthy of a remodeling magazine picture.

Lastly, any project is only as good as the finale touches. And that’s the staining and painting. Jerry did a great job blending stains for our new wood doors and trim to match our new cabinets. The real challenge was to blend old and new with a stain to repair deep dog scratches on two existing doors that I fully expected to replace. Jerry did such a nice job.

I always thought of myself as an above average painter. But the artistry of Diana’s skill leaves me in the dust. We greatly appreciated her honest opinion when we’d ask. The finale paint selections (with Diana’s help) turned out to be exactly what we envisioned and hoped for. The teachings from her father, a master painter himself, would make him proud. She was neat and precise with each stroke.

The perfect choice for my kitchen renovation. I contacted them back in December of last year about renovating my 1960s kitchen to make it more functional and to increase storage. Meredith, the designer I worked with, was incredibly kind, competent and professional. She was always respectful of my time, as I do work, and responsive to my inquiries. With her help I was able to select a floor plan from the options she presented and make all my material selections in one day! Work began in the middle of April with a full gut and was completed the beginning of August. Every trades person was professional and cleaned up after themselves. There was good communication with the contractor, trades people, Meredith and myself so I knew who would be coming that day and what they wanted to accomplish. She even assisted me in finding siding that matched my house even though my house color is old. There were a few set backs, as there always is in renovations, but nothing that wasn't solved with a calls and adjustments. Overall this was a great experience. Meredith was wonderful and I appreciate her and contractor's eye for detail and for making amendments to make my kitchen as functional as possible. 10 out of 10, 5 out...

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful kitchen that we paid for... Besides paying for what you get - the workmanship was spectacular, the workers so respectful, the timing on spot, the comfortability in my home while workers were here was amazing. Above and beyond the design by Tara Wenger at Kitchen and Bath is more than I could ever ask for. The thought and time that went in to make our space what it is today (with out extending our space or adding on) was brilliant! In addition to the simplicity of having one source, I was able to pick exactly what I wanted through Tara at Kitchen and Bath with out having to shop 15 stores for cabinets, counter tops, hard ware, flooring, lighting, trim work etc. It's a one stop shop that will not disappoint. Thank you Tara Wenger for your amazing design and Kitchen and Bath for delivering an on time and added (to our request) amazing value to our home!
