Apple market — Local services in Bakersfield

Very overpriced. I went in twice, once around 8:00 p.m. and the second at 9:00 p.m. this is when Walmart and FoodMaxx are usually busy. Both times there was only one other person in the store with me. That tells you something.

People do not want to pay for overpriced food. Here are some examples: a 9 oz bag of Doritos for $6.29, a box of saltines for $5, and most cereals were six or seven dollars a box, however some were four dollars.

The selections and size of the store are between a gas station and a regular supermarket. Most things you're looking for will be there but don't expect a lot of different brands.

One good thing is they have a nice meat counter.

Maybe they'll recognize this issue and iron things out...

The store is ok, I was expecting more after friends told me their experiences in this store in a different town. I found the grocery section to be at least 1-2 dollars higher on items. The store has a huge butcher case the whole length of the store, it had a big selection of different meat, beef cuts, chicken & pork. I think my favorite part of the store was the vegetables & fruits it had a large selection of anything you would need or want. I found everything to be super fresh & yummy 😋 Over all I think it a nice little store that I would stop by & pick up veges & fruits, meats & last minute...
