Awesome little place for some authentic Mexican food. Especially the tacos 🌮 Carne Asada 😋 or Chicken with all the fixings. Onions lemon 🍋 chili and some radishes.. Oh man they are delicious. Everytime I come on the east side of Bakersfield on Niles I will stop here if I'm hungry. They never ever disappoint me. Plus with a handicap ♿️ parking right up front it's so easy for me to get in and out. The staff is always helpful and nice and friendly. Read moreNow here's a mixed bag. These villas are not the original La Villa Mexican Grill but they are all over the city. Menu items are similar to those of LVMG but not as many options, however the prices tend to be cheaper but this reflects on the biggest issue. While every thing is made to order, they often use pre cooked cold ingredients that aren't even heat lamp controlled. California burrito with fries in it, may suffer from cold fries quickly heated. Sopes may suffer from old stale refried beans etc etc.

Read moreOf all of the la villas in Bakersfield, I must say this one is my least favorite, however it is the closest one to my home, so I continue to eat here because I enjoy their signature flavors. this location has fewer choices than the one on Union avenue and their choice of beef seems to have more fat here.
