Brazilian Wax Boutique — Local services in Bakersfield

I have been going to this place for years. Recently however their customer service has gone way down. The front staff is fake nice and they are very rude. They give you an option to tip but when you dont tip because you dont carry cash, they look at you ugly, however they dont give you another way to tip. They false advertise and say walk-ins available, I have always gone in for years as a walk-in but recently they denied me and insited i come back for an appt at 130 when i was there at 12. I have always been given the option to have a chance to choose a longer wait time or return. They dont give you an option to choose an esthetician so even if you had a bad experience with one in the past you have the chance to get them again. I used to rave about this place to everyone but in the past 2-3 yrs i have been back and forth on whether to stay or not and now that the manager has rudely emailed me to cancel my appt for sinply stating the truth about their rudeness and has refused to render service i have decided to go elsewhere because it is in MY best interest. My wife’s not one to leave a negative review so I’ll do it for her. People like the ones that run this place amaze me it’s well over 100° outside and My Wife just walked out the door as a paying customer only to find out that her car wouldn’t start so she goes back in to ask one of them if they can help her jumpstart her car having her own cables and an empty spot right next to her it would’ve taken a matter of A couple minutes to help my wife and their response “no we’re on the clock ask someone from frugattis” mind you there are three women standing up front doing nothing but talking without any other customers in the store. My wife’s car was right in front of their door and we’re talking about a small parking lot so it’s not like they would’ve spent a lot of time walking around. 2 stars because the place was clean and staff was friendly. If you get waxed frequently and are looking for a quick wax, then this place is fine. However, I do not recommend going here if you do not get waxed regularly or have never gotten a Brazilian before. The customer does not matter; time is money here. I audibly screamed and they didn’t even give me a minute to catch my breath because they want you out of there within 15 min. I wanted to walk out of there with the wax and strip still attached to my body because the strip they used was so large I couldn’t bear the pain. This place is a conveyor belt of Brazilian waxes and does not care about taking their time to make the customer more comfortable by waxing smaller sections. Most places I’ve been to have taken around 30-45 min to do a Brazilian and used around 15-20 small strips. At this place, you’re in and out of there in under 15 minutes and they split it up into about 6 massive strips. I’m...
