I was so saddened and disappointed with the service I received from Knights Jewelry. I have lived in Bakersfield all my life and my family and myself have done business with them from the time they were on 18th street. I recently visited the store to purchase a set of earrings as a Xmas gift. I was told the earrings could be ordered and would be delivered by overnight mail to my daughter within a couple of days. When I called my daughter to inquire if the earrings had been delivered I was advised they had not been received. I then called Knights to inquire as to the status of delivery. I was advised the store had never received the earrings however they could be reordered and I would receive them in time for Xmas. I had already left town and requested the order be sent to my sons address in northern California. I was assured the earrings would be sent by overnight mail and I would receive them timely. The next day I called Knights to obtain a tracking number for the FedEx delivery and was informed the Jewelry company where the earrings were being sent from would not deliver to my sons address as it was reported the address was not valid. The address was valid as delivery from UPS and FedEx were received all the time at that address. I asked the clerk why Knights had not taken the time to inform me that I would not be receiving the earrings. I received several excuses all of which were untrue as the clerk that was speaking to me had forgotten she had spoken to me the day before with a whole different set of excuses. I was then advised the earrings were again on their way to Knights store and they would be received this afternoon. I was advised they would call me to let me know when the earrings had arrived and I could then decide if I still wanted to make the purchase. A call was never received and I ended up making another purchase from a jeweler in Northern California. There was definitely no customer service or follow up received from Knights Jewelry, this whole situation was crazy and I am still having a difficult time comprehending what happened. It took them 16 days to find the watches in their store, apparently someone had missed filed the watches. When I came in to pick them up there was No apology No good customer service and No reason to go back to that inept pathetic service
