I would give one star but Target pays Google to delete their one star reviews ;) I left my wallet at this store this past Sunday. Itâs Thursday, and I have called every day since then, but they donât answer. A total of 47 calls in 4 days, and all of them have rung until the phone automatically hangs up. And I have called every. single. department (including Pharmacy, which sends the customer to a voicemail service). I finally contacted the Vision center inside of the store who, even though they donât work for Target, was kind enough to leave their store and let the manager of Target know that I am desperately trying to reach someone regarding my lost wallet. I was told itâs too busy for them to help me so I need to call corporate (not sure how calling a different location for a lost and found item makes any sense though, how can corporate check your lost and found items?). I called corporate andâŚIâm in shock. They said that even if the entire store ignores their hob duty and refuses to answer the phone, after 30 Days, THEYâRE ALLOWED TO STEAL THE CONTENTS OF THEIR CUSTOMERSâ WALLET, or any other item left behind. I confirmed with her by asking âyouâre telling me that if the manager has my wallet and wonât take my calls, I have to drive all the way back or else have my wallet taken from me?â She said YES. So thanks to Bakersfieldâs Stockdale Target, I get to make a 600 mile round trip this weekend to confront them in person⌠See...
Read moreI know it's going to date me but I remember when you only went to the store when you needed to buy things. Not catch up with family and friends while you clog the aisles for people that just need a quick item. With that in mind I usually avoid this store after dark and on weekends. Forgot my stomach pills yesterday when I stocked up for the weekend. Could have, actually SHOULD have used curbside pick-up, but I didn't want to make some overworked employee go out into the heat just to hand me a bottle of pills so I waded into the store. Never doing that again! I see that the Central location won't let unaccompanied minors in. Great policy for this store. Maybe if they did that the broccoli-headed idiots could skateboard outside or maybe even move the soccer match they've staged in Electronics to, I don't know, THE PARK a few yards away from the store. I guess it's better to use Target's soccer ball, the one they're hoping to sell-it's not a free trial item, in-store so you can just walk away when your game is finished leaving some one to trip over it. If you're looking to shop, use the app for curbside or just come in the early morning but AVOID this store like the plague on weekends! However if you're hoping to catch up with friends or relatives and just "look-it" stuff, hell,...
Read moreWe know corporations do not care about their workers. They care about their profits and share holders. But there used to be a veneer of care for customer satisfaction. I witnessed that go down the drain today. There were no check-out lines open at the store. I asked the man (presumably the manager) overlooking the self-checkout area whether he could open a check out line as I did not want to use the self-checkout feature. I don't think I need to explain myself for this choice, but here is the reason: I had many big items and the self-checkout area is cramped and difficult to navigate with big items. The man was rude. He offered no explanation or apologies. He did not try to accommodate my request. He informed me that I would have to use the self-check out. I understand that self-check out could be an option for people in a hurry or people who have only a few items, but it cannot be an imposition on customers. The prices I pay at this store include someone helping with checkout (that is, wages paid to workers). What is this manager's customer service motto? Tell customers to go help themselves when they request help? I propose that self-checkout lines should include...
