Pretty disappointed all around with my experience here. Even though the place was half empty, we had to ask someone to take our order after 45 minutes of waiting. (Even with a reservation) The baristas looked shocked when I said no one had taken our order yet, they told us that the bartenders were supposed to be taking our order and serving us. The baristas were very nice and took our order, between myself and the two others I was with, it took an additional 45 minutes just for them to serve us 2 waffles. We were there an hour and 30 minutes by the time we got our food. Not once did any waiter or bartender come up to us until we asked for the check. Thank god they had mobile check out to pay our tab, otherwise we probably would have waited longer to leave.

The food… For a brunch menu there wasn’t many options and what we did order, was downright disgusting to say the least. We were contemplating sending the food back, but we had already waited an hour and half and didn’t want to wait another hour to get food, so we ate barely any of what we ordered.

Mind you, the place is over half empty the entire time.

The only saving grace was the coffee. It was pretty good, but not good enough for me to return.

In the end we left hungry, disappointed, and frustrated to say the least. If you have plenty of time on your hands and love mediocre food with terrible service, this will be your favorite...

Where to start…

This restaurant/brunch club has an interesting vibe when you show up. I went with 3 adults and 2 toddlers. The room is very well situated with a great ambience that gives a modern approach to the decor.

Our total time for brunch with 4 plates and 4 drinks was 2 hours. Yes you read that right… 2 hours. The servers are not very attentive to their tables. We sat for 30 minutes before we placed a food order and sometimes drinks even took 20 minutes or more to get. There were still numerous of empty tables.

The food is mediocre at best. Overly seasoned fries, over cooked waffle and a wrap that was drenched in salt and seasoning was not worth the wait.

They have a Karaoke/DJ who doesn’t even sing karaoke. It’s hard to describe. He sings when he wants to but it’s just the normal song with him singing over the main vocalist. Other times, he is awkwardly holding the mic reading his phone.

Our server was professional in every aspect even when we needed the check. The owner needs to pay attention to this place or it will for sure not last in Bakersfield. I would recommend this to a party that wants to start their bachelorette party in the morning or to anyone who has an abundance of time to kill and nowhere to be, also not picky with food. They have a full bar but I believe they missed the mark when it comes to brunch.
