
07/07/18 we walked in the store around 8:40pm and immediately all eyes were on us I'm going to assume it was because of my environment friendly reusable bag which is a normal reaction I guess for the neighborhood it's in, but then one guy missing a few teeth decided to literally follow me around the store now anyone that has been in this store knows you can see almost everything from the counter I finally make it to my aisle and choose a $50 bottle of Jack Daniels select mind you I'm still being watched and it's very obvious to me my husband and the other guests around, we get in line finally it's our turn the lady doesn't smile doesn't offer any kind of customer service until I made it obvious I was uncomfortable I knew they suspected me for theft. Now keep in mind I never reached into my bag not once until I got to the counter so I proceeded to take everything out the bag my phone, wallet, and set of house keys and I turn the bag over and angle it so she can see inside of it.... the oddest thing happened all of a sudden my business was appreciated and I was asked if I found everything ok blah blah blah.... well after the very uncomfortable experience I had and that fake customer service which added insult to injury made me feel so terrible and embarrassed that I honestly dont ever want to step foot into this place of business again. People beware if your walking and using your own bag going into this store, you will be watched, followed, and treated rudely in front of everyone. *Just a word to the 3 employees who were working that store that night the proper thing to do would have been for you to approach the guest you suspected of theft and offered them help not follow them and stare them down at from the end of the aisle they are on because of incidents like this it was not my intention to steal I just wanted to get my bottle and go home I still had about 2 miles to walk back home that's why i had my own bag..... 2 things you can never forget are hurtful words and the way someone...

From the outset, the customer service was curt, dismissive, and lacking even the most basic standards of professionalism. My presence was met not with courtesy or assistance, but with thinly veiled hostility and an air of condescension that was impossible to ignore. When I sought clarity on a simple matter, I was met with eye-rolls, interrupted mid-sentence, and ultimately accused—without basis—of inappropriate behavior, an accusation that felt disturbingly rooted in racial bias rather than any actual conduct.
There is a profound difference between enforcing policy and engaging in targeted mistreatment. No customer should ever leave a place of business feeling degraded, profiled, or dehumanized.
