I used to go to hobby lobby for everything but after my recent events ....I will be going else where for my arts and crafts. I bought a few bottles of paint for a project I was doing. Well, I did not use all the bottles I bought and I made a mental note to return them. They sat by my door for a good few weeks. Finally, I decided to return them. I could not find my receipt. I assumed that as every other store does they would just give me store credit and that would be that. I didn't mind that at all! As I said I used to buy a lot of crafts from there. I knew I could find something else. However, when I got there and tried to return my item, it was a huge MESS. First off, their computer system is so old school that they don't SCAN anything ...they hand enter the numbers by hand (which as you know allows more errors) . The lady entered my items code and only said to me "sorry we don't got it anymore" I asked for a manager and a blonde older lady appeared. She proceeded to tell me that they couldn't find my item at all in their system and they didn't carry it anymore. YEAH in the few weeks I took to return it you completely got rid of that paint brand..sounds right. They did enter the item a few times. But in the end she basically told me I was screwed and she wouldn't give me store credit even though I made it clear to her that I didn't need this paint at all. Read moreI called the store one night not realizing they were closing soon and got put on hold twice then got hung up on and when I called back and said that I got hung up on the guy on the phone said that they were probably ready to leave. So I ask for the managers name he did not want to give me. So I called the next day and spoke with the manager told her what happened and she was very nice and took my order over the phone. When I went in to pick up my order only half of it came in So here we are 2 weeks after placing my order and still haven't heard from anyone. So I call them yesterday and the guy told me that one of two people will be calling me back after they got in . Well I haven't heard from anyone. I am getting very frustrated I am try to finish my project but am in need of the rest of my items. Read moreThis review has nothing to do with cashiers who are always nice and work hard but rather the manager on duty who just stands at the front pretending to work. Been here multiple times and each register (there were only two open) had easily 15+ people at each lane and instead of the manager maybe hopping on a register to help with customer service (isn’t that like manager 101?) she just stands at the front, looks at her phone, holds a walkie talkie, and occasionally helps put a shopping cart back from a customer who was already a foot away all while pretending to be “busy”. How she can’t see her employees in need and think, maybe I could also check a few customers out myself, I have no idea. I’m convinced she doesn’t actually know how to work a cash register. Am I asking her to work a register for 5 hours? Of course not. But maybe for 5 minutes to help with the flow of customers spending money at your store and to be there to support her employees thus making everyone...
