Appliance Discounters — Local services in Ballwin

Would give 0 stars if I could. I have family members that recommended Appliance Discounters in Ballwin to us, and they are surprised at the issues we are having with them as well. Our new gas stove arrived damaged (missing a leg and the anti-tilt); store keeps giving us the run around. Poor communication "We'll get back to you!" " The service department will handle it, we don't". We have left voicemails that were never returned, we have called and can never seem to get a straight answer. We are pretty understanding of hiccups and issues, but they seem to have completely written us off since we paid in full upfront. It's seriously a shame. We have more appliances to purchase, but definitely won't be going here again.

EDIT TO ADD: the service department was wonderful once they got in contact with us. The coordinator was friendly and helpful, the technician was thorough and easy to work with. And I must add the team that originally delivered the stove was upfront about the issues with the stove and helped guide us for how to report and get it fixed. We went to this store in November after doing tons of research on new kitchen appliances and finding the best seller to get the most for our budget. We went to Best Buy first but weren't impressed with what we could get for our budget. We were also there for an hour and no employee ever approached to see if we needed help. When we walked into Appliance Discounters, Brian immediately welcomed us and asked what we came in for. We told him our budget and which brands we were interested in. He never tried to talk us out of our brands and showed us many appliances available in our price range and in the budget we were needing to stay in. He crunched numbers for us to offer us the best appliances for our budget. We bought 4 brand new kitchen appliances in our budget and Brian went over all of the features of each appliance with us. Recently purchased a new GE Stove from Casey at the Ballwin Store. Did some research on the Web and found these folks had the best prices. Casey was an absolute joy to work with. When she answered the phone, you could tell she had a smile on her face. She found the Stove we wanted at another one of their stores because we wanted to see and touch it before purchasing. She answered all of our questions and set up the delivery. The delivery crew was awesome. They introduced themselves and took out the old stove and brought in the new one being extremely careful going out and in. Nick connected the gas line and fired up the stove to be sure everything was working correctly. They even re-connected the closers on our storm door that I had taken off before their arrival.

I cannot say enough nice things about these people and their work ethic. The stove was rather expensive, but you get what you pay for and we certainly are very pleased with our purchase and this whole buying experience. I...
