My experience here was one to remember, not only was the place empty, on a Saturday night. no one was there to seat us for ever. Finally we as a group 7 got a table. Received stale chips, the salsa tasted like a pepper shaker with no flavor. Ordered cheese dip cold and chunky. Ask our server to heat it up and she just looked at us like it was our fault it was cold. We ordered 3 margaritas, and I heard they were really good. Wrong! The Margarita flight looked like mess, while attempting to look pretty with gross old fruit. The house margarita tasted really bad, and the Cadillac/premium margarita tasted like nothing but orange juice and cheap tequila. You would think it would end there, my kid ordered a soft taco with no lettuce and received a hard shell with only salty beef, the other ordered a enchilada with cheese dip and chicken, and charged us $14 for a kids 1 enchilada and rice. I ordered Al pastor tacos and that has to be the most pathetic way to call that Al pastor, it’s like they pre cook it and heat it up later, no way that comes off a rotisserie! Service was slow, they brought out the plates one by one, and my husbands fajitas were cold, and didn’t receive his tortillas! My friend ordered the carne adsa, you guessed it burnt/ with absolutely no flavor at all what so ever, and the skillet was cold, look like a plate of onions with a small piece of meat. How confusing! First time and last time we come to this place. Heard good things about this place. ONLY THING I ENJOYED WAS MY GLASS OF WATER! This restaurant must really be going down hill because it doesn’t even compare to your average Mexican restaurant. our bill for 7 people came out to $180. All for a horrible experience!...
Read moreMy best friend and I love this place but after last night not sure we will frequent it as much. The restaurant wasn’t busy, they had a good crowd but it was also before the dinner rush. We have seen this place packed and on a wait many times but this time wasn’t anything like previous visits. We had the same server we have had before on one of our many trips here and he was great before but last not changed our mind quickly. He made us feel like we were an inconvenience for him. The pitcher of margaritas we had tasted like straight mix and not tequila, we asked if it was a new recipe and he said no and we just let him know it tasted like straight mix. Needless to say we didn’t finish it even though we tried and usually we have a couple of pitchers while we are here. Looking around at the tables that had margaritas people were very slowly drinking them or leaving at least half in the glass when they left. When our food arrived, we ordered fried ice cream for my son to have while we were there and a burrito to go. He told us the kitchen was busy and it would be at least 30 minutes, we said that’s fine because we literally just received our food and we’re going to eat. He came back a few minutes later and told us the kitchen couldn’t do the fried ice cream because they were busy. I didn’t realize that when you order something they can pick and choose what they do and don’t want to do. This really caught us off guard and confused but again we just said okay and...
Read moreI have been here twice in the last month. (May/June 2023) Pros: Food is excellent: the salsa and guacamole is delicious. generous portions, delicious Margaritas Cons: Service has not only been poor ( flagging staff down multiple times for water refills and chip refills) our lunch took over 40 minutes to get to us and the restaurant was pretty empty at 2 in the afternoon. My biggest issue has been: both times the servers spoke very little English and understood less. I ordered a dish with no onions, they had 2 people come to the table to try and understand my request. (no onions is not a complicated request) and my dish was still made with onions and had to be sent back. On my first visit, I could not understand my server asking me something about side dishes. I will try one more time, and if the language barrier is still an issue, I will...
