Ok , Before I start I finally brought what I was for. The only thing is and Iām not saying the guy is a bad person, not at all .the black guy was cool chill understanding but the other guy I donāt know if heās Spanish, biracial or what ( no offense at all) but he was a little pushy . I understand the hustle but when someone says theyāre not interested in something just donāt keep pushing the issue on why they should buy. I play video games every 6 months maybe sometimes once a year .I'm not young not a gamer I just like to play with friends and family when bored . I donāt have time to play every game all day . So when someone tells you theyāre not interested itās ok to state why one time they should purchase something but not keep going on . 1TB is good for me and he was trying to get me to get the 2TB . I tried everything telling him my age , Iām not interested I donāt play my game like that, I mean everything and he still was trying to tell me why I should purchase the 2TB insteadš Everything I was saying was flying over his head . First he assumed I had a ps4 without even asking , then tried to basically force me to buy the 2TB 𤣠I am too old to worry about a GTA 6 I only played GTA five one time because I donāt have time š he really wouldnāt stop he was like ( yeah, but Iām saying though the 2TB is better) Iām not a gta person COD 6 is out and I still like the 5 I donāt want the 6 . I like what I like and once a year I play what I like 1 game every 6 months to a year . When that gets old I will delete and load something else up . I even told him that and he was still like ( yeah , but still , see with the 2TB is better than the 1TB . Like bro I donāt even want to buy the 1TB but I have no choice so let me just stick to that. He was literally about to make me say forget everything and put it back . I invest my money. I only spend money on what can make me money I didnāt want to spend $100 for storage to a freaking game to play when I couldāve spent that hundred dollars for a new investment to continue to build my family wealth. Young man need to understand what you may feel like I need I donāt feel like I need. Itās not important to me. Learn to leave it alone . Offer, give your 1 opinion and leave it alone . I felt like I was arguing with my girlfriend or something. āI donāt like spinach. No, itās good for you. You need to eat it but I donāt like spinach. I donāt want spinach , well eat because itās good for you . I wonāt even have time to put it in the game . I called up my investor in front of him to make sure thatās a good thing to do or should I wait that young man was so busy trying to get me to buy it , he wasnāt even comprehending what was going on in front of him . Money talk bs walk always go the cheaper route folks . Thatās how you keep money in your pocket. Thatās why I got a nice car a nice house because I invest. I donāt spend my money on unnecessary things. Bro was the devil on my shoulder trying to knock me off my pivot. šHe wasnāt even paying attention. My credit cards is black and Iām not talking Cash app or Apple Pay either . Respect boundaries . I know what I want and I know what I need. Iām not the type of person thatās easy to influence especially to buy something because it sounds good. It gotta make sense financially. I look like nothing because I had to blend in with the community I was in but in two years I could buy that whole shopping center . In order to become wealthy, you have to make money more than spend it . Forget a 2TB he was lucky I wanted to buy the 1TB š iām on the road to being wealthy. You aināt taking all my money to give it to someone thatās already wealthy. Nah my family could use that extra 70$ or 100. Bro was talking to someone completely different. Looks can be deceiving brother. He wasnāt mean though ( a little rude maybe ) by not respecting the boundaries when I said no, Iām OK he was cool just a little pushy . If I say No Iām good I mean No Iām good . Thatās actually not a good sign...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe pits . When you attempt to purchase something using your power up rewards they want to see an i.d. to me this seemed very fishy as they have nothing to compare it to . When I purchased the rewards I showed no one anything and in allllllllll my years going to game stop I've NEVER been told I couldn't use my rewards that I paid for . I also attempted to show them an app that encrypts my id and that wasn't good enough go figure new technology rejected by a tech fueled store . On top of that I offered to show them it's me by simply calling the number they have on file and showing them litterally dozens of things in my wallet such as credit cards and business cards with my name on them . My privacy matters to me , especially at a game stop I'm not familiar with . No one business should ever need you to verify yourself in pervasive Manors especially to litterally save 7.99 on buy two get one free old games . Your driver's license number should be kept private and if I we're going to steal something as petty as a coupon to save 8 bux I went through a lot to get that savings with all the remembering of addresses phone numbers and duplicating an entire wallet. I could have submitted and showed them but I would rather not shop there or at game stop in general if this is how it is and besides that I got all three games online for less anyhow so a win anyways. Be careful at that game stop or you may end up...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe gamestop management appears to be discriminating against the community of thi location in addition to using deceptive sales practices. On 10-18 i aked would there be a 9pm or 12 am release for two new games at that location and was tol yes, i made my purchase in full. Only to find on the night of the release that i had been misled. Yet the gamestop 's located in other ethnically oriented areas there were both 9pm and 1wam releases of these 2 games. I went to the store on the actual release date and was given no explanation nor satisfaction in this situation. The staff were indifferent to this at best. Racism in retail game sales, wow, disgusting as well as...
