After the last 2 encounters at your store, we will drive to the location in Golden Ring.
Last week, when we came in staff was abundant (3-5), which is not the norm when we come in. Usually it's 2 people, maybe 3. I guess this was an important day. I saw a male, whom I'm assuming was the manager (who I've never seen in the store), and a Hispanic gentleman sitting at the back table (seemed to be someone from Wingstop's upper management as well). I have gotten in the habit of ordering 1 hour before I need the food because the 18-36 minute estimated time has NEVER been accurate. On this day, it had been over an hour and our food still was not ready. The store was packed, and several other patrons were verbalizing how they had been waiting over an hour as well.
Skip to yesterday. My son orders at 6:40 pm. I go to pick the food up at 8 pm. Get there, I see the bag with his name on the shelf, the young lady asks me to come to the window, I give her the name. She takes and places the bag on the counter by the register and walks off. I get my son's drink and proceed home, WITHOUT CHECKING THE BAG. We pull up to the house only to find items missing. I try to call the store, but like always, no one answers the phone. I return, wait a few minutes before getting the attention of the manager to explain the situation. The young lady was friendly and accommodating. She told me she only had 7 drums available (we order 10 bone-in Old Bay wings). I told her at this point, give me what you have because it's late, my kids just came from practice and were ready to eat and go to bed. As I was waiting for her to get the food, the phone was just continuously ringing. If you all do not have the staff or are not going to answer the phone, set an automated message to let the person know to order online. However, when a mistake is made on an order, patrons are...
Read moreI recently ordered from this establishment (Parkville, Md) over the phone. When I arrived it took roughly 7 minutes before anyone decided to help me and there was no line, but to employees where at the counter. As I waited for my wings a gentleman asked one of the staff how much longer it would be good his order because 10 minutes ago there young lady said it's coming now, but it still wasn't ready. The manager made the comment that they were very busy and it would be up. I didn't pay attention to the time, but now I understand why he was upset. I had ordered my food over the phone 40 minutes ago and I was still waiting. I asked about my order to only be told it was being made. I tried to be patient, say down, and another 10 minutes went by... NO FOOD! I asked for a refund and that you over 10 minutes to be given...by the manager. I went in with high hopes and left with great disappointment. The customer service was trash and that's going to deter people from coming in. I don't think I'll ever visit that...
Read moreI remember when I saw the sign. "WINGSTOP COMING SOON" I basically did free PR for them from the amount of people I was bragging to that there was finally going to be a Wingstop close to me. Even though I had never had them, I always saw the comparisons to BWW (trash) and how much better Wingstop was. Well for the first 2 months I'd give this place an easy 5, and even though not the BEST wing around. A great place to grab one in a hurry with a lot of sauces and fries to die for... BUTTTT the more time that passes by, the worse the place gets. Whether its a wrong order, bad customer service, cold food, DIRTY AS HELL! Every time I order there seems to be an issue with mine or someone in the establishment 2/5.............................. AS OF 10/27 It seems to be under new management, not sure how long it's been but the past two times the food has been good and things seem to be running smoother. Hopefully...
