Worse experience I have ever had in a staples, this is not my normal staples. I normally go to the location in pikesville shot out to the extremely great service there when I need something printed unfortunately I was at the hospital and this was the closest one sent something to the store to be ready for pick up at 1:30 pm, and it never got received I find that out after I called to check on it and talk to the general manager who is the same person that I had to deal with once I was in the store A nice man who was working the floor help me send my photos to self help print and ask what size I needed I said 4×6 he said not sure if it will print that over here and I don't want you to waste your time and money so go to the desk and have them print it I said ok because it was for a summer party and going to be tossed after so I only needed it printed on regular paper not photo paper I walked to the desk told the general manager an older lady named started with a V. what was going on and how much time I had to be in the store she said it's going to be a wait and I said just for a regular photocopy she said yes and I asked just for a regular paper printed she then said i need to check what it is we spent 15 minutes making sure we had the right thing to print out and the correct size please remember that part, I then said I needed some other things ask where I could find them and went to get them as she worked on the things I needed printed out. I spent additional 10 min walking around to get the things I wanted to go with the photocopy I thought was being printed. I come back to the desk again I was the only person In the store that needed help with something printed the older lady (general manager)walked away as I was walking back up. I waited 20 minutes for her to come back and thats after the man who help ask how things was going and I said they are not going so he went to find the manager that walk off now it was a young lady behind the counter this whole time working on something else just for this manager to walk back and tell me it was other things in the queue to be printed out she then turn and told the young lady I am going to have to move what you have in queue so I can print her stuff then spent another 10 minutes before she call that young lady back over and asked her why it's not printing. The young lady look at the computer and said you didn't make it a jpeg because she only need regular paper printed now I'm piss because I was in this store for 45 minutes trying to get a simple print out. Clearly is this woman don't know who to manage time or projects because she keep telling me that other people are wanting again I'm the only one at the print desk If she would have been a good manager I would have not walked out with nothing I gave this store to much of my time on something that should have only taken 5 minute I called my daughter and told her to Uber to our staples and had the whole thing done in minutes. Most zhe the bad reviews for this place have to deal with the print counter and employee not knowing how to do their job I will never go back this was on June 27...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I’ve been a customer of Staples for at least 5 years, and I have never had any issues with the company up until recently when I went there to purchase flyers for my business. I ordered flyers on July 29, 2022 and as of today I still do not have flyers due to Staples inability to create my flyers correctly. The flyers have been reprinted on three different occasions due to several issues that were of no fault of my own such as, the QR code being cropped from the first set of flyers, then the second set of flyers were missing some of the prices, and lastly the QR did not scan at all on the last set of flyers. I am unhappy with this situation because this all could have been avoided if the employees were trained properly. Upon ordering the first set of flyers I noticed Brittney had cropped my QR code and I asked if that was going to cause any disruptions to my flyer and she assured me that it wouldn’t, however it did cause an issue because the QR did not work. I spoke with Val the store manager on 8/30/2022 regarding this issue and it felt as is she could care less about my concerns. She was a little argumentative and spoke in a condescending tone via phone while trying to explain that the QR codes didn’t work with certain phones, which wasn’t true because the QR code on the second set of flyers actually scanned. I explained everything to her and she stated for me to bring the flyers back, which was not an issue at all but I felt as though that she was trying to accuse me of attempting to scam the company. Not once did she apologize for her staff’s mishap, which I felt was inconsiderate and unprofessional. I returned all of the flyers on 9/2/2022 and received a full refund, which I am happy about. However, I am not happy about the treatment that I received at this location and will no longer be shopping at Staples for my business or personal necessities. Read moreI went at this store yesterday to photocopy few documents, asked for help as it was my first time to use the service there. The associate named Nikki came to show the self serve machine when I requested her to help. The machine was not functioning as the power was off which I came to know later from another associate. I again went to her while she was chatting with her Indian colleague. She came and told me to pay first and left, didn’t even check if the machine was on or not. I tried few time nothing was happening, then I asked another senior customer behind me , she tried to help but was not working either. Then we seek help from another associate passing by who turned the machine on. I could try different machine but already prepaid on that specific one. Then I went to front desk , seek help , the girl with hijab/scarf over head came and showed me how to properly do the work. She was very helpful and friendly and I finally did all my work. I wish Nikki could have showed me or check the machine properly without rushing ( there was no customer in the print/photocopy zone while I requested help), it could have saved my time. I won’t go to that location anymore because of this poor experience.
