This is my go to Home Depot on kane st and Eastern avenue, since it is the closest to my new home I just bought recently in Dundalk and of course remodeling presently ,so we use this one the most, even though Rosedale is more equipped with more in stock ,we try to at least go here first :) and when it comes to plumbing supplies..... THIS IS DEFINITELY MY "FIRST CHOICE" ! ALL BECAUSE OF "ONE PERSON" and that is because of Mike a "retired plumber" (PICTURED TWICE w/ me) he has been amazing ! he has worked out every scenario and every plumbing problem I've had ! and has had an answer and the right parts to give me at the right time ! as you can see in the pics ) we've gotten together quite a few times !!! as You can (CLEARLY see in the PICS ) we needed an adapter for our walk in tub diverter (PICTURED) we also needed a flange extender solution for the second floor bathroom (PICTURED) and a solution to fix the leaking problem of they're top of the line $200 vanity sink they sell ! (you see PICTURED) it ONLY has a "HAT SEAL", THAT LEAKS LIKE A SIEVE !! that goes up against the strainer basket in between the tail piece and the strainer basket itself (PICTURED), you have to buy a "round rubber gasket" ( PICTURED) to put in or it will leak consistently ! no matter how much you tighten it or what you do ,I don't know why they sell it this way ! but it DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY ! AGAIN....you have to buy the "Red rubber thicker washer" IN THE ASSORTMENT PACK (PICTURED) and install it !!! :) Tune in next time for Mike and i's PLUMBING ADVENTURES !! Read moreI've been to this store many times and have not felt the need to write a review but this time was different. I was on a hunt for a new grill I wanted one that was already put together that would fit in the back of my friend's SUV. When I first got to Home Depot I saw Bobby who was bringing in carts and I asked him if he had a tape measure on him so that we can measure the opening in the back of her SUV compared to the width and height for the grills. He did not have a tape measure on him but quickly located one and helped us begin the measurements. Then I found the grill that would work and it looked like the sides would actually come off quite easy and make it more manageable to load in and out of the vehicle as well as up several flights of stairs to rooftop deck. I went inside and asked if they had a screwdriver I could use and told them what I was trying to do they called Steve and Steve came out screwdriver in hand ready to unlock the grill take off the sides for us and help us put it in the vehicle. He was super helpful seemed so willing to take care of our request and overall just made it a very easy and excellent experience. There's a very big difference between people who are helping you because they don't have anything better to do or because someone told them to versus somebody who's helping you because they're genuinely happy to do it. These two gentlemen were very much happy to help. I could not say enough good things about how easy the experience was an overall highly recommend if you are looking for a grill that's already put together and some helpful guys who will be up to measuring and ensuring it fits even willing to help you get it in the vehicle this is the place to go. This delivery company Home Depot uses, Nonstop Delivery, is a disaster and I do not understand why Home Depot continues to use them as a vendor, particularly in light of all the negative customer reviews on Google, Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. I have been given the run around about a delivery they have yet to make for over a week. The kicker is that the item has been sitting in a two different warehouses that are less than 30 miles from my home for almost two weeks. Not to mention that they moved it from the warehouse that was closest to me to one farther away. I echo what most of the other reviewer had said about encounters with their customer service line, there is always a long wait when you call, the representatives promise someone will call you that day or the next with a delivery date and time and it never happens. This is dishonest. On Friday, Nonstop Delivery's representative, Imelda, finally answered my call and I gave her my tracking number, she asked if she could put me on a "brief hold"...five minutes later my call rang back to someone else's voicemail.
While Home Depot's customer services representatives are usually better trained, except Jamie, and have handle my concerns better than Nonstop Delivery, their attempts to resolve this issue have not yielded any results. Further, their attempts to make this right by offering me 10% off a future purchase is presumptuous and disingenuous.
