Hometown Brand Center — Local services in Bangor

We recently purchased our kitchen appliances from the Hometown Brand Center in Bangor, Pa. From Tiffany the sales professional, to Jim the installer, to Faust the proprietor our experience was excellent. We made two trips to the store. After listening to what appliances we had and our idea of what we wanted, Tiffany showed us appliances she thought might interest us and she showed them with a wealth of product knowledge, features, and performance reviews that made our selection process very manageable. The height of many new refrigerators limited our selection of models due to the height of our existing cabinet over the refrigerator. Sensing we wanted a refrigerator that was not sized for our opening, Faust the proprietor offered to come to our house to measure the height of the opening and to offer solutions to deal with that cabinet. He suggested that a trim of the cabinet was very doable and with that the refrigerator we wanted would surely fit. Faust was correct and we were able to purchase the refrigerator we wanted. On installation day Jim arrived as scheduled and masterfully and neatly installed the four appliances. He then gave us a great tutorial on how to use each appliance and how to care for them. He is very good at what he does. In short I highly recommend Hometown Brand Center as the entire staff is professional, very knowledgeable, and customer-service oriented. The clothes washer that I had purchased from Hometown Brand Center stopped draining, so I called for service. The gentleman that I spoke with over the phone asked many questions in an attempt to either help me to solve the problem myself or, at the very least, to have all the necessary information for the repairman. I was immediately sent an email and a text to confirm the appointment, followed by another confirmation text and email the following day, giving me the name of the repairman and the window of the time of his arrival. I was also informed that he would either call, text, or email me when leaving, and that he would give the the time he expected to arrive. On the day of the appointment, Brian called me nice and early, told me he was on his way, and told me when he would arrive. Once here, Brian immediately got to work, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in no more than a half hour. He then explained to me exactly what the problem was, and said that everything should be fine. He added that I should call if I needed to, that he work was guaranteed. My husband and I decided about a year ago to remodel our kitchen. The first stop on our long journey was to Hometown Appliances. Hometown is where his parents had purchased their appliances for the last 25 years, so it was an obvious choice. Tiffany is who we encountered when we first arrived at the store. She was friendly, helpful and very informative on the appliances we were interested in. When we were ready to make our purchase, close to a 9 months later, we walked back into Hometown and again, we were met by Tiffany who remembered dealing with us months earlier. She told us about some changes to the appliances we were interested in, stated that the appliances could be held until our kitchen was completed.
