China Wok — Restaurant in Bangor

I was in the Bangor area and was hoping to find a Chinese take out restaurant. It was a cold night; I wanted to buy Won Ton soup. I found this small store front downtown and I pulled into the street-side parking spot. I entered and immediately encountered patrons spread out in that tiny space. There was no heat; it was very cold in there. Although I was among 5, I didn't wait long to order. I went with the large Won Ton and the smiling school girl was quick to fill up the quart size container. I was in and out within 5 minutes. In my whole life of eating Chinese (both in USA and Mainland China), this out-of-the-way restaurant had the BEST Won Ton soup I have ever eaten!!! It wasn't overwhelmingly salty; nor did it have a 'chemical' taste, as some do. The broth was Pure and the dumplings soft. When I'm in that area again, I will go around the block and out of my way to stop there...

Foods nasty 🤮 no flavor, hard to chew not cook properly no color to it or even really a smell it’s half fast made for 15$ per meal this is a waste of money I tossed the entire plate away meat was like chewing on blubber not even cut up it was small too not getting moneys worth in the tiny take away box they give you smh I got beef and broccoli and vegetable lo mien don’t go here take away drive to stroudsburg by the mall they have better food out there this is slop at its best it looks appealing because I added a lot of duck and soy sauce and...

We've been coming here for years now as our go-to spot in Bangor for Chinese Food. Im not sure what changed recently, but our food tonight was not the same - the General Tso's chicken had WAY to much ginger (it overpowered every other flavor in the dish), and the fried dumplings are reminiscent of pre-packed frozen potstickers that I purchased recently at Sam's Club.
