We have tried this establishment several times before reviewing it.
The first visit they did not have our reservation in the book, but luckily, they were not overly busy when we got there, and seating was available.
We found the menu to be a little too eclectic for the area. The vibe is very casual, and the live music is great.
We met the owner, Tim, who was walking around, checking on tables.
I offered a suggestion or two, and he was very receptive.
We went back a second time and ordered the same thing as when we went the first time. There were some slight differences to each dish, but nothing was bad about either of them.
Plus, this time I noticed they had made some menu changes and added a regular garden salad.
Thanks Tim for listening to a customer suggestion.
Now onto our third visit.... We ordered the same thing as the previous visits. I will say this time again there were differences.
None of the differences were about the taste but more so the portions and presentation.
The chef had a visitor in the kitchen with him, so that could have been a distraction.
Overall, the quality of the food is good, I just wish it was consistent.
The staff is very nice and offered suggestions and answered questions about menu items.
Tim is very nice, open to suggestions, and genuinely cares what the customers think.
They have not been open that long and I'm sure they are still working out some kinks.
I would definitely give them a try. It's is a nice place to grab a bite and a drink, listen to some live music and just hang for awhile.
Parking can be a pain but that's in any small town.
They have outdoor seating available.
Check online for the live music schedule.
This can be a really great place!
We would absolutely go back.

Read moreHusband and I had been meaning to give this place a try and it exceeded expectations! We were greeted immediately by Stephanie and she was super helpful with making choices. She made her first espresso martini for me and it was sooooo good. Could it have used more cherry juice? Maybe - it was still excellent and I'll be ordering it again. The cocktails were pretty good overall! I know my husband likes them on the sweeter side but they are happy to accommodate. Now the food is what I keep thinking about. The scotch egg? Holy moly. First off it is REALLY hard to nail a SOFT boiled egg in a scotch egg. It was cooked perfectly and the sausage was seasoned soooo well. I know the yolk kind of acts like a sauce so it's perfect on its own but there's a part of me still wanting some kind of dijonaise to go along with it. Its not going to stop me from ordering it again. We got the soft pretzels and the cheese sauce was so tasty!! The wings were cooked perfectly as well - they were sauced but still crispy! Do you guys make your own buffalo sauce as well? It was excellent!!! We also got the Bacwn Byrgyr o Bangor - we ordered it plain and I was not expecting it to be so good all on its own. It was caramelized from the bacon and the flavor was insanely good. Do yourself a favor, go here, have Stephanie take care of you, order the scotch egg, wings, a burger and enjoy. Can't wait to come back!!! Thank you Stephanie for making such a wonderful experience. 🥰 believe it when they say they make everything...
Read moreTonight was the second time my mom and I had dinner at the Slatebelt Brewing Company! It is handicap accessible with a ramp leading to the front door. The ascetic of the brewery is based around music, complete with some guitars hanging on the wall and a stage for performers. It has embossed wall paper and is super cute and welcoming inside. Our server, Stephanie, was amazing. She asked if we had been there before, and if there are any food, allergies they should be aware of. She was kind and friendly and, when asked, offered suggestions as to what we might like to eat. She recommended the scotch egg, which I now also highly recommend as well. My mother raved about the New England clam chowder stating that normally it is bits of clam, but that there was actually whole clams in the chowder. Stephanie offered ketchup and vinegar to accompany the fries with our meals. My mom’s only complaint was that the fries were a little overdone. I am a fan of crispy fries so it didn’t bother me at all! They had some music playing over the speakers and it was at an appropriate level so we didn’t struggle to hear each other talk. We will...
