Typically I go to the Fairlawn location but with this store basically in my backyard I decided to give it a try. With two young kids I didn’t want to hassle with the long wait times I knew I’d find in fairlawn. That said.... I Felt like the guy couldn’t get me out of the Barberton store fast enough. Ethan didn’t check to make sure my new phone was working properly before telling me that I could leave to let my old phone download to the new one. Didn’t go over the new monthly bill with me and when I asked for him to REMOVE the insurance on my husbands line he did not and ADDED insurance that I didn’t ask for to mine. I was told I’d be getting a phone with more GB for the same price as the one I had wanted because what I wanted and asked for they were unable to give me. My husband just showed me our new estimated payment and it’s double what we currently pay. My line was due for an upgrade it should only be going up the cost of the new device. For the bill to double is insane. To not have a heads up on that and to be assured otherwise is unacceptable. I can forgive a lot (short staffed, dirty bathroom, lack of variety in accessories) but this. I can’t. I am going to be going back to the location in fairlawn to see if they can’t fix this for me.    Read moreGoing in planning on upgrading one phone, Rose talked me in to upgrading 2 phones and adding a third line for a “deal of a lifetime”. She acted like she was practically giving away the phones and accessories. Rose never went over any details of costs and it was very confusing what exactly was going to change bill wise. When I went home I contacted Verizon and confirmed that my new bill was going to be far higher than what she said. My daughter was not happy with her iphone13 and realized that she was only getting $370 to turn in her iPhone 12 Pro Max that was only a year old, in perfect condition and she had paid over $600 for. Rose never explained that clearly and obviously it was not a good deal at all, not for the customer anyway. When going back before the 14 day return cut off to return the iPhone 13 Rose was very rude and cold. She did not crack a smile and only refunded me $1.60 +$30 for the case when I paid $199 on tax for the iphone 13, a transfer fee, case and screen protector. How much did she charge to transfer when literally the iPhones do it all for you. All she did was put in the new SIM card. It just does not add up and I’m very upset to be treated so poorly.
