Andy's At the Light — Local services in Barnegat Light

Went here with my family as part of our long beach vacation on Sunday June 9th 2024. This store is conveniently located near the Barnegat Lighthouse, since we were coming from there, we browsed here. We came sort of late, and the store was closing in 10 minutes. Stores around here seem to close early for some reason. It is a nice big shop with lots of souvenirs and t-shirts and many other things. Friendly owners with great knowledge of the area and fishing. Great selection of souvenirs and nautical gifts. They have a bait and tackle section complete with rod and reels. Everything to fit your Barnagate Light Inlet fishing needs. It is my favorite place to stop as soon as we get to the Light. Disappointment is not in their vocabulary, so...

Miserable man behind the counter ringing up fishing tackle. Tells people there are no fluke in the inlet. Total lie. No keepers, but caught over 30 in less than 4 hours. Won't be going back even as a last resort. Tackle prices are inflated about 50 cents to a buck over other shops. The store does have nice items in the gift shop, but...
