Hate how you have to have a card then when you sign up for a card (have done so 3 times) it never works. To me this is borderline false advertising.
Instead of posting a new review I decided to just edit this one. The above is from 5 months ago.
While looking at the ads in the paper I noticed they have 3lb bags of chicken breast on sale for $4.99. Also the ad shows nothing about needing there rewards card. As I was picking the chicken up there was no signs showing that a card was needed for this item. As the cashier rang up the items they scanned for $8.99 instead of $4.99. I pointed out that the add showed $4.99 and was told that was with the card. I told her that the ad didn't show anything about the card. She tried to point it out to show me but could not find anyplace on the ad it showed I needed a card. She still would not make a price adjustment without making me sign up for a card. It only took a few moments but I should not of had too. My last post and reason for editing this one instead of posting another talked about fault advertisement. This could not be any more blatant. United is only a few miles away has the same ad as homeland and never requires the card. I normally go there and would of if i knew I...
Read moreThis Homeland location is just okay. It's about average, but when you compare it to the location off of Washington, they are like two separate grocery stores with regard to Quality. For instance the produce and bakery have better offerings and appear to be more fresh at the Washington location. Additionally, one Homeland looks cleaner than the other. In any case this location seems to have a few items that I regularly Buy but does not offer everything that is offered by the other Homeland. Sometimes that can be an inconvenience. In any case I don't hate the place, but I don't also shop there often unless I just so happen to be in the area. I can confirm that you can often find a good price when they have sales even on items I wasn't even looking for. For instance, they will offer box candy or Kool-Aid mixes four for five bucks. I can also confirm that most of the employees are helpful and kind. That's a plus as it's hard to find good...
Read moreUnfortunately I will not be shopping here anymore. You must use the app to get discounts and the app is impossible to open. It was just okay with the Homeland card, but now the app makes it torture. The pictures on the verification screen are impossible to see and if you try to enlarge the pics you can easily click the wrong ones. It's just not worth it and it's too expensive without the ad coupons. Drop your prices and drop the inferior app. You have made the whole experience infuriating. ...
