I purchased 2 movie tickets on the Fandango app, one for me & one for my mother. This would be her first time going to the theatre since the first Star Wars came out, so it was kind of a big deal. I bought tickets for the wrong time (a day later than when I intended to go), but we decided to go anyway because the movie had been out for months & it was a later showtime on a weekday. I immediately tell the cashier that I bought tickets for the wrong day & she gets the manager who immediately releases a heavy sigh & a frustrated look. Totally apathetic, he said I should get it refunded & then buy new tickets for the right time. I laughed. âHow many people are in that theatre right now?â I ask. âUuuh... well we sold a couple tickets just now....â He replies, barely opening his eyes. I ask if he could let it slide this once, given my Momâs age, it being a big deal that she was out (she can only stand up for so long), & the fact that the entire theatre room for the movie was available. He just puts his hands up like he doesnât know what to do. We left, my mother already needing to find a bench to sit down. I get that we bought them at the wrong time, but seriously? Youâre going to turn away 2 paying costumers for an empty movie theatre for a late night showing of a movie that had been out for months (Mission Impossible: Fallout in September) I mean CâMON. Terrible costumer service & honestly very very very egregious that they would do this to someone as old & handicapped as my mother. We just wanted to see Ethan Hunt, not talked down to...
Read moreI wish I could could give this movie theater a zero. Not only is this place being run by a manager that does not have great customer service she yells at them. me and my family had the worst service ever. We will never return there. she stated that you have to reserve seats now(which was a surprise to us)and then gave us tickets to the wrong movie. We had brought our Littles to watch Moana 2 and she put us in Mufasa very big difference. My kids were scared just as it started. My sister n law tried to get it corrected I heard the manager yelling at her and I came running to the lobby to tell her she needs to calm down and she does not need to treat customers that way when she was in the wrong... another scenario was she was yelling at this teenagers and told them they couldn't use the bathrooms. Why why treat these young girls like they were nothing bc they wanted to use the bathroom. The girls stated the manager thought they were sneaking in at first and stated they wanted to use the bathroom. I stood there and watched her yell at these girls. This manager needs to be gone. If she is the person they chosen to represent the movies theater I'm pretty sure she will be the reason for it...
Read moreNice establishment. Just old old old. Felt like I was sitting in the back of a 1960's hippy van! (The Green Machine:-) But seriously, AN UPGRADE IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! The seats look older than meee! With the horrible bed bug outbreak in our county, new clean seats would definitely encourage new and old customers. I remember when The Warren in Wichita got an upgrade with the waiter push button service and it stayed packed. Let's face it, people don't wanna leave the movie after it starts and wanna eat more than popcorn and candy. We want the full experience! Dinner, Service aaaaand a movie! This Promotes new jobs where a young high school student can make tips as well. While I was forced to LEAVE my seat to get a FREE refill, I noticed the young staff juuust chillin.... they could've easily brought me whatever I needed from concessions on top of the potential of earning a tip. There is limited family experience here in bville. "If you build it, ...
