BEWARE OF TH GLASS SODA ITEMS! Got a pomegranate lemon soda, and went to open it, just to taste it (I actually thought it was a lemonade and misread the bottle). Anywho, it exploded all over the truck. I don't know if it was shook up in transport, an employee did it, or an obnoxious customer, lord only knows, I am going to go with shook in transport. I went back in covered in soda, walked up to one of the registers, asked for something to clean up the truck with as it wasn't safe to drive like it was, and a new bottle of soda. The staff was amazing and gave me a new bottle and free wipes to clean the inside of truck. Outstanding customer service. Just sucks that I had to exchange in the first place. :/
P. S. The second bottle didn't fair much better note to anyone wanting to buy anything fizzy in a glass bottle, put it where it can't get knocked off of anything (usually this goes without saying, but Casper the Not So Friendly Ghost had other ideas (my apartment is haunted by people, and possibly something. An older woman, and two others one named John, but they won't show themselves. There maybe something else, if there is it hides behind the others.), it got knocked off a table without anyone touching it, it wasn't on the edge or anything. The sound was like a micro explosion went off in my living room. I am still finding glass 15ft from the impact site. Did I happen to mention the impact was less than a foot off the floor? Yet it spread out so far. I got to see it fall. It looked like someone pushed it, but I wasn't looking directly at it. Anywho, enough with the ghost stories...
Aldi is still the cheapest place to shop at less than half of the price of Walmart, without all the brushing elbows with everyone. I am Obsessive-Compulsive, and I can't stand touching people; it freaks me out. Aldi has its own environment it is more leisurely, shop at your own pace type of place, instead of most other places where they will...
Read moreWe love Aldis and had a basketball tournament in town so decided to stop at the Bartlesville location. There was miscommunication in the back about the price of turkeys and we were told 3 different prices. Anyway, at the register I asked my husband who was at the register to check the price of the turkey because I was at the back of the line as my son unloaded the cart. The cashier, Travis, told me I needed to calm down it would be fine..?? I ignored him and when I spoke to my husband again, he interrupted again. This time, I informed him I wasn't upset for him yo continue to tell me to calm down. We had no communication at this point for him to keep smarting off to me. After I looked at my receipt when I got up to the register on the turkey, it was for a different amount for what I was told..again, Travis got an attitude and called a manager. She came up rude to start with and said the price wouldn't be changed. Okay, not a problem. The guy in the back made a mistake .No worries. Except when I checked the overall price the turkey rang up, the cashier again began telling me off. At this point, I was irritated and told him he was being unprofessional and needed to stop speaking to me. When he continued, my husband stepped in and told him he needed to stop mouthing me. He called his manager again who wouldn't even stop him. He mouthed me standing there in front of her while she kept telling him to stop. That should have been a sign as to how he was treating me, but instead she got rude also. We will never shop in this store again and this man should be dealt with for deliberately popping off to me multiple times. Travis needs to be addressed before someone's husband addresses his disrespect to their wife..and the manager needs addressed for being...
Read moreAppalled at the experience we just had at the Bartlesville location. We stopped by to get a couple of turkeys and a few groceries. Multiple items were out. The store was a mess. But What outraged me was the disrespect the cashier named Travis gave to my wife. She asked me a question about the price of the turkey as it was rang up. The cashier, Travis, smarted off to her and told her to call down , it would be fine. I kept my mouth shut even though he was out of line. When she asked me again after we both ignored him, he again smarted off to her. This time, she addressed him calmly but he just kept on smarting off. Needless to say a manager was called and he continued to pop off in front of her and she did nothing but be rude also. Obviously the cashier feels completely at ease being rude to customers because he knows his manager will do nothing. They smirked and made faces as we walked to bag our groceries. As a husband, it took everything I had not to yank him off that barstool for being so disrespectful to my wife for no reason. She hadn't even spoke to him when he smarted off to her the 1st 2 times. This behavior needs addressed immediately. It is absolutely uncalled for and highly unprofessional. The female manager on duty at 7 pm on 11-10 and Travis, the cashier, should both be fired if this is the way they...
