I purchased a 2 larger cushions Natuzzi sofa from Bartlett Home Furnishings. Within 2 months the side my husband used had a nice sinkhole in it. They took it out for repair twice. The first time it came back—they had put a new cushion on it. It was big and puffy and the cushion seams did not align with the original side—but the new cushion was nice and firm. The repair guy came back and looked at it again and said he could re-align the new cushion so it would match the original side cushion. This time they took the whole sofa and “fixed” it. Then, when the sofa was returned the cushion was already soft and sinking in—but hey it did align with the original cushion! Also, once the sofa came back the power head rest on the original side now raises up but sometimes will stick and not retract back down—you have to wait several minutes and eventually it will retract back. The manager, Doug, came out (at this point we were 5 weeks past the second repair) and checked it. He said the cushion sinkage was normal settling. He did not seem at all concerned with the head rest issue. I told him I was not happy with the sofa quality as the sofa is only 7 months old. His response was sorry there is nothing I can do for you. So, I told him I would not purchase another thing from their store nor would my 3 sisters who also buy from their store as well. Doug’s response was a disgusted/irritated sigh…..he immediately got up off the sofa and stomped out the door and said as he was walking out……You have a good day! Wow! Now isn’t that stellar customer service! Nope, my suggestion is to NEVER make a purchase from Bartlett Home Furnishings because you will be stuck with it, if it does not hold up! Please see...
Read moreWe are long-time customers of Bartlett Home Furnishings because they offer extremely fine products for discerning buyers. They are a high end retailer where your purchases will assure you of great value for your money. Their enormous showroom is filled with treasures for every room in your home.
And, they employ extremely experienced designer/salespersons who are attentive and responsive to their customers' needs. Our designer/salesperson yesterday was Ms. Linda Boshers who listened to our wants and needs and fulfilled them. Her challenge in serving us was recognizing our differing preferences. I had "test sat" a wide range of chairs and configurations. Shortly, Linda observed, "Larry is just not an ottoman guy." She led me to an array of fine leather recliners with hidden leg rests and electronic controls. I fell in love with a really nice Stressless recliner manufactured in Norway. It was in stock, and I am now enjoying it in my home.
My wife was interested in a traditional occasional chair (her words), and Linda ordered one to her specifications. It's a beautiful leather chair made by Smith Brothers, and delivery necessitates a bit of a wait. It's worth the wait. By the way, shopping at this store never subjects customers to any sales pressure. The two chairs with tax came to nearly $5400, and given our long experience with Bartlett Home Furnishings, we expect them to outlive us. Our children can argue over who gets what.
