I was shopping for a Mother of the Bride dress and had NO luck finding anything at other stores. I found Bliss Bridal and called them to make an appointment. An employee (Chandra), was SUPER polite and sweet on the phone. She told me the days I could come that didn’t require an appointment, which was very convenient!! When I went in, she greeted me right away, and remembered my name from our phone call. Anyways, I gave her an idea of color and style and Chandra took me to directly to some racks and started pulling dresses for me to try on, (which, by the way, they have a huge selection and they’re all gorgeous). She was also trying to find the right one for my size. I would have NEVER dreamed of getting one that wasn’t close to my color, but I took one look at it and WOW, I would have never guessed. I probably would have skipped right by it, due to the color. She told me I should just try it on (for fun) and see how it looked. So I did. I stepped out of the dressing room and WOW!!! We looked in the mirror and Chandra absolutely loved it, and so did my husband! I had that moment of “This is IT”!! I fell in love with it right away! The best part was that it fit me perfectly! All they had to do was tighten up some loose beads and sequins. Also, the hem was perfect with the heels I had in mind. She was really excited and happy for me! The whole time we were there, she was VERY personable and wanted to hear details of the wedding and wanted to see pictures of the bride. She made us feel very comfortable and she is super genuine. It was an awesome experience, because I left smiling and SO excited! I sent a picture of me in the dress to my daughter (the bride) and she LOVED it! A couple of weeks later, Chandra called me to tell me that my dress was ready. I picked it up and it looked perfect! She made the whole experience very enjoyable and WAAAYYYYY LESS-stressful!! For me, Chandra gets 2 thumbs up and 5 stars all the way!! If you decide to go in and she helps you, PLEASE give her a 20% tip when you check out and pay. It was well worth it!! Let me say this clear enough for everyone to understand. This place is completely crooked! I just left, with my daughter. She came in last week to get a dress and only placed it on hold. Paid a deposit of $255 and they kept $65. If that’s your policy, I can respect it. However, you have no where listed, in sight or on paper. It’s not even listed on their sites or social media pages… ANYWHERE!!! I proudly support locally owned businesses and especially women in business. This one I will not patronize and neither do I recommend anyone to ever patronize. She decided to not give my daughter any of her money because I chose to not hear all her theories about bridal boutiques, or was either pissed because i told her i had to go feed my children and didn’t have time to talk about all this nonsense. I absolutely love this shop! Chandra, Sonya, and the entire staff are such a joy to work with. I am very picky but they never made me feel like I was asking for too much. They made it such a pleasant experience. I found my wedding gown, tux for my fiance, my dad and all 6 groomsmen. I am plus size and finding a dress that fit and was flattering was overwhelming but Bliss had the most dresses for me to choose from!
