I visited Fins Freshwater Aquariums for the first time last week, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that the owner, genuinely cares about the well-being of both the fish and their owners. He was very helpful and patient, answering all of my (many) questions about tank setups, water conditions, and the best care for my fish.

The shop is well-maintained, with tanks that are spotless and full of healthy, vibrant fish. You can tell that the owner and his staff really takes pride in the health of the animals he sells, and he’s super knowledgeable about each species. I left feeling confident in my purchases a pair in Bleheri Rainbows.

What really stands out to me, though, is the personal care Owner provides. He’s always checking in with his regular customers, making sure their tanks are doing well, and offering advice or even just chatting about new additions to his shop. It’s that extra attention that really makes this place feel like more than just a store—it feels like a community.

Update: We came back with daddy and we picked out a doo doo (baby shark like my 2 year olds says. A beta fish) and 2 little cleaning tank buddies. We also got a tank and all the things we needed for a starter fish. The owner was kind, knowledgeable, and patient. My daughter looks forward to our trips to this mini aquarium and goes ohhhhhh ahhhhh at all the happy fish. Excited to bring home the newest member of our family.

Although we didn't purchase a fish today because daddy wasn't with us, we wanted to tell our experience there. The owner was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable, and was willing to teach us anything we wanted to know about the fish. I walked in and breathed a sigh of relief. This shop is so clean and organized, and there's a great variety. The owner and his son run it, and they are both so nice and helpful. I was kind of rushing to get this done, so I was a bit hectic, but they were unphased. Answered my questions and helped me out. We bought a tank on impulse, so we know nothing. they gave me several tips and made sure my tank was balanced with the fish in it. After I left, I remembered a question I wanted to ask about changing the water, and he remembered my name and offered so much info.
