Lopez Grill — Restaurant in Bartlett

Story time: Drive up to no parking spaces. Get inside and taken to the patio area. Not sure who's idea it was to put 1000 lumin LED lights directly behind the dozen ceiling fans, but that patio is an epileptic nightmare. I've seen EDM shows with less pulsing lights.

Get up to use the restroom (I needed a break from getting blasted in the face with strobe lights) and in the bathroom, is a GUY FILMING for YouTube or some other dumb BS with his phone. I ask him to stop. He try to argue his case to keep videoing while I use the restroom. I storm out. I get the waiter. "Hey there's a guy taking video in the bathroom" Waiter responded, "Yea I talked to the manager, and he's a regular, and they get a little crazy sometimes". Thanks guys, it was real fun ushering the children back and forth from the bathroom all night because, I no longer felt safe letting my kids go to the bathroom alone.

Patio area has a sewage leak some where. It was nice to smell human waste while trying to enjoy a meal. At least the smell of feces seemed to cover up the stank of their dry fajitas. Speaking of which came to the table cold. Not sizzling.

I could tell the waiter was trying his best and was a nice guy, but the place is poorly managed.

It smells bad, the food sucks, and don't forget look over your shoulder before using the restroom. Apparently "regulars" are allowed to film in there. 0/10. Will never return. Absolutely a waste of time and money. I've eaten at food trucks in orange mound that had a better atmosphere.

Everything Was Great Until I handed a Young Girl my Credit Card, I couldn't see what see she doing with it. It's the Only Place I haven't use it in a Few weeks , She goes out of Sight behind the counter and the Next thing I Notice. Was a $273.95 Swoosh.com a Nike store. Charge that was Put on, The Day after we Ate at Lopez Grill. Talk to the owner he that she was his Cousin he didn't ask for my Phone Number to get back with me that's Odd. Just click on the picture ate on the 2nd charge on the 3rd and transaction the bill on the 4th so somebody there bought stuff with my card and if I was you I would make sure you check your Credit Card after a few days of going there or weeks because you never know how much they going to charge on it. Plus, I Call Back a Few Day Later to check on it and I guess His Manager of the Place. Try to Intimidate me. By telling me my Full name. No Mr. In front of it or nothing about the Problem .. What a Shame Food was good. Management Could use some Training. or Replacement. **Me and My wife went back to try it all over again call a head to see if it was busy When we walk the Guy look at me funny The Food Taste like Roadkill. Didn't eat mind Wife get sick as a Dog. So I sent My Food off to the CDC FSIS and the FDA to run test on it. We have Friends that work There. We will know what in it by next week. Well I live up the street from the place and after seeing it built from the ground up and seeing how many people is constantly there. I saw that the place started crowded. So I decided to check it out with my sister. We went arrive 3:00pm in the day, middle of the week.

Service: we had to wave our waiter down to get his attention to help us, other than that, the service was mediocre.

Meal: every time me and my sister go to a New Mexican restaurant we order the basics, I order tacos and she order enchiladas. Our motto is if a Mexican restaurant messed up this type of food which should be their specialty , then you know that everything else will be lousy. food looked good, but it was totally bland, was NOT GOOD AT ALL, NO SEASONING ON MEAT. Sister and I agreed we had better. We will not be back. Now we know why it stayed crowded. The prices are cheap and they have a big menu and maybe the drinks are good but since I do not drink, can’t tell you if they are good or not.
