Update: Thank you for the owner response! Let me be the first to congratulate your business on being the first one to deny us the use of the backpack for medical reasons. Three years with no problems explaining why we need it everywhere we go and your employee was the first to give me grief over my medically fragile child and what she needed. I didn't notice your sign(s) on the door or I would have made and effort to comply. Once I was made aware that I was in violation of your "policy", I did my best to talk to your employee about it. It would have been nice for her to be honest and say "Our policy is no big bags and we don't make exceptions." Instead she was rude about and didn't give me an opportunity to explain why we needed the backpack. Thank you for this learning experience. I'll never forget ya'll!

You have to ask for a key to the bathroom, which they make you get yourself even though the workers are standing right beside it. They also wouldn't let me keep my backpack inside, even after I explained that we needed it for medical reasons. I was told "Its nothing personal." They didn't even ask for proof that we needed it for medical reasons. They just told me to take it outside or put it in one of their lockers. What stops the employees from going through my things and taking valuable medical equipment?? We left the store needless to say. Its a shame to be medically discriminated against especially when the medical equipment is for a child!! The employees could use some education on how to discuss medically essential reasons as to why someone might actually need a large bag to carry around. Ask the right questions and don't be rude! I was not informed of the issue with my bag until I had been in the store well...

Great place. Our favorite shop in all of Batesville!Very large store with tons of vendors. Upstairs plus a downstairs. Very well organized, no junk! Really cute farmhouse decor, antiques, vintage stuff, and random cool items. Cookies for the kids, self serve coffee and snacks. The basement has some funky deals in it! Definitely check out the downstairs!! Very kid friendly. There are toys by the checkout to keep your kid occupied playing while you pay or ask questions. There is a cute car for your toddler to ride in while you shop. Ton's of selection. Really a lot under one roof. Family owned place that cares about their shop and their customers, very friendly service and always...

Gave them great review last year but they have gone down hill. Nothing posted so u know where checkout lines are. Just take anybody that walks up, even if others have been waiting longer. I had 3 items, 2 glass & 1 plastic. Women had awful time ringing me up. Then took 1 glass item & tried to take plastic 1 to wrap leaving the other glass item. Had to tell her wrap the 2 made of glass. My sis went thru 2nd line before I got started but was at the car waiting for my it took so long. Wouldn't mind but waited 12 minutes while they took people who just walked up instead. All the other times we've been there it was great but if these are new cashiers we...
