Second stay at The Royal! The first was last year around this time, we stayed in the Main St Suite. I grew up in batesville so it was so fun to see such a cool hotel come to life on Main Street. We were back in town for an event last night & stayed in the Maxfield Suite, which also included a balcony. Having stayed in two rooms on two occasions, I can give my takes. I have never seen anything like this in batesville. The Main Street Suite has an awesome view of downtown, and the blinds let in awesome natural lighting. Maxfield is my favorite so far. I love the setup. The balcony rocks, with a good view of Maxfield Park. I also love the couch vs the two chairs like the Main Street suite had, but I appreciate there is also a chair and desk setup.
I also loveeee the amount of lamps, as someone who hates overhead lighting, the attention to detail on this and the amenities is huge!
Both suites are enormous and do an excellent job at separating the sleeping vs lounging area even though it’s open concept. The website has the awesome amenities listed under each room, including heated toilet with bidet, heated towel rack, TV mirror, the HEATED BATHROOM FLOORS (game changer).
What they don’t mention is… the electric shades that you control with the touch of a button. the in room ice maker Mini fridge AND microwave Bottled water (thank you so much) in room coffee maker the amazing bathroom mirror lighting The AMAZING BATHROOM ITS SELF the cozy comfy bedding (plz tell me where it’s all from!)
I love everything about this hotel, and I stay in a lot. There’s just something so cool about a boutique hotel, and this hotel does it right. The price range makes sense, without going overboard, and you get a good bang for your buck. You get a detailed book with how to work all the technology in the room.
I did spill something so I had to use a white washcloth to clean it up in the living room area on the hardwood and the washcloth got very dirty. The bathroom floors were spotless, though, the entire room was, so maybe the hardwood is just harder to clean.
Although there are no staff on site, they are easy accessible with a call or text. I love that the rooms automatically lock after a few seconds. I love that there is no front desk and we can let ourselves in. We have to come back and stay in batesville in October and I will be booking the Royal again and I hope to try a new room, possibly the Knight because...
Read more….Just wow! We travel a lot during the year and have stayed at a variety of locations but nothing compares to The Royal on Main. We were in town for the weekend and my brother in law suggested this amazing place. We stayed in the Sterling Suite This is a suite with a king sized bed, living area with TV, bedroom with large TV, kitchen area, bathroom with large shower, headed floors, heated towel rack, large “ring light” mirror with TV in the mirror. There was a gas fire place and electric shades The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. There is a washer/dryer. The owners thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay the best possible. When you book the room you can select a custom punch code that gets you into the building and your room.
The only negative was there is a suite right above ours and you can hear everything ….and I mean everything. I think the family above us was practicing The Riverdance until about 1:30am. 😂
This place is a MUST STAY if you ever travel...
Read moreThe living area is gorgeous, with insanely tall ceilings and old hardwood flooring. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Batesville, Arkansas.
The king-sized bed is incredibly comfortable, and the linens are soft and luxurious. Amazing night's sleep with the see through fireplace.
The bathroom is like spa retreat right in your suite. The deep soaking tub is perfect for a relaxing bubble bath (run get some!) and the separate walk-in shower is so refreshing. And a TV built into the lit mirror.
The attention to detail is in The Royal Suite is impeccable, and every aspect of the suite is designed to provide the utmost comfort and elegance.
So, if you're looking for a truly extraordinary experience, I highly recommend booking The Royal Suite at The Royal on Main. You won't be disappointed!...
