I live in Birmingham, AL., but I grew up in Lake Charles, LA. And went to college in New Orleans. I love Mimosa handcrafted because it not only reminds me of home, but of my sweet husband. My sister lives in Baton Rouge and turned me onto Mimosa when we visited an art show and they had a pop up shop at the fair. I came across the Aaronic blessing pendant which is the prayer that my husband and I said together every morning before he left for work. He left EARLY and I was still sleeping , so I wouldn’t say the prayer correctly. He would kiss my head and say start over BEE! So many times I said that prayer and when I lost him 5 years ago in a work accident, I struggled to even try to say it. . The pendant brought me comfort and I could look in the mirror if I struggled with the words. I wore it so much that I broke the bezel and I just sent it back to Mimosa for repair along with a few items that I was exchanging for Christmas presents. They sent me the nicest email and they fixed my pendant and adjusted the clasp so it is easier for me to hook. Great customer service and kind words go along way. I want all of the pieces that bring joy to me when I see them and read about how the piece came to BEE. I’m anxiously awaiting my Aaronic blessing pedaling with the mimosa sprig cuff and mimosa leaf ring. They will go nicely with my red stick bracelet and the various other pieces that I have bought over the past few years. Great quality and my next purchase will be the joy/sorrow ring in 14k gold as a reminder of how blessed I was to have lived with the greatest man I have ever known! I keep buying more and more things from Mimosa. The quality is outstanding, the designs are beautiful and they are always so kind. I own five or six pieces, and I have given at least that many pieces as gifts. Shipping is always fast and the packaging is thoughtful.

My first piece is my most precious, and I am particularly grateful for it because it was a gift. I got the Gar bracelet when my friend won an Instagram giveaway. I'll spare you the tender, heartwarming story about why putting it on is the most meaningful part of getting ready for each day, but I do wear it every day. And it looks brand new, despite the fact that I have never cleaned it or cared for it in any way. So do all the pieces I have bought since then. For myself and as gifts. Everyone loves them, and a lot of those people are now buying gifts of Mimosa for people they love.

Mimosa has done it again! I recently purchased the strawberry pendant in sterling with an everyday chain for my daughters 14th birthday. I learned she and Madeline share the birthday which my daughter and I both love! They are both awesome and creative Leo’s! The package was shipped in plenty of time unfortunately it was lost by the USPS for over a week… during that time I contacted Mimosa to tell them it was lost and that’s when Madeline told me they had the same birthday and offered to send something as a “ place holder” until the original gift turned up. I told her not to do that but I would keep in touch if it didn’t arrive and miraculously it showed up just in the nick of time! The strawberry is so cute and my daughter loves it!
