I come to this bar a lot, and have really enjoyed my time there, but it has really taken a turn for the worse. This review is compiled from my past 5 times there. When this place first opened, I was so happy to have one of their many different options of mojitos. This used to be on their regular menu, however the last 3 times I have asked for a mojito, they are always out of mint. Now listen, I know that nobody likes to make mojitos. But it’s absolutely ridiculous to not have your supplies stocked for a bar. One of the times I have went, the bartender informed me that they did not have any tequila, mint, or rum. I do not understand how a literal bar could be out of alcohol. I feel so incredibly bad for the bartenders here. Most of the time, it is 2 bartenders and there is a constant line of about 10-15 people waiting for drinks. There is no possible way to give the best customer service in those conditions. And I find it very telling that there are constantly new bartenders. I come here fairly often, a few times a month, and the bartenders never last for very long. Today, with the two bartenders working, they also ran out of beer glasses, and were ordering customers to bring back their glasses if they wanted a refill. I’m all for reduce reuse recycle, but that’s not how a bar is run. And it’s also not sanitary whatsoever to be refilling glasses without them getting washed. It’s so disappointing coming here now. And it’s so upsetting because I have interacted with the owner on more than one occasion, and he is very kind and accommodating. But it doesn’t show. A lot of people really love this bar, and it’s such a great atmosphere, but it is not being handle as best as...

This is a new-ish place on Government Street Mid City Entertainment District in an old gas station, I believe. They have a small inside with a long full bar. The bartender was not very attentive. I had to call him over to get me a cocktail even though no one was at the bar, they have no servers, table service or food. They do have very cool locals that frequent from the neighborhood so it is a very cool vibe. The atmosphere is very relaxed with a garage door open into the outside lawn area. It is set up like a backyard with old school patio tables and chairs. Dogs are also allowed outside. There are live music many nights even during the week. They also have trivia and karaoke as well as other special activities & themes. It is a really cool place where everyday isn't the same thing. Try it out on a gorgeous day, which you can find 8 months out of the year, fall through end of Spring. Summers are way too hot for outside. If they have A/C inside, it didn't seem like it when I was there one day...

I live in Mid City and was excited to check this place out, but I struggle to think of a worse bar experience. I bought a round for myself and a couple of friends and for starters, one of my friends ordered a highball and there was zero alcohol in it. It was literally just bubbly water. It was also completely clear which made no sense for a whiskey-based cocktail. I said something to the bartender and she gaslit me and insisted that was correct. And this was a $12 cocktail. In total, I ordered that cocktail, one beer, and one diet coke, but somehow my bill was $37! I've never felt so blatantly ripped off in my life. On top of that, both bartenders were irritable and seemed like they didn't want to be there and the general vibe of the place was bad. I definitely won't be returning and if you're looking for a place to go, I recommend going to one of the several other bars down the...

I had a wonderful time tonight! I’m excited that I found a welcoming outdoor hangout that supports local musicians, has delicious food, and is close to home. Not long after my niece & I arrived, we were welcomed by, Lance, the owner. That was nice of him to take the time to visit with us. While we were waiting on our supper, we snacked on some popcorn (which was FREE) and a cold Abita beer, and blessed to have the opportunity to pet a couple of sweet furry friends. Soon after that we were served a most delicious pesto BLT poboy that was large enough for us to share. Open Mic was awesome, too😎🎤🎸💯 We heard some awesome musicians sing & play guitar, and listened to someone read poetry. I can’t wait to come back; and recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun evening⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super cute funky lil bar. Wish I would have known about it sooner! The inside is small, but cozy. Plenty of bottled and draft beers to choose from, along with specialty cocktails and a food truck out front. The outside area has cute lawn chairs and tables with umbrellas on turf. Very 50s vibes. There’s a nice sized covered area with a large screen which would be perfect for game days. Excited to see what sort of events they have planned in the future. Best part is that they’re pet friendly! 🐕🐩
