We first met Kylene through a referral in early October of 2024 as we looked for a nutritionist for our 15 year old son, who is a high school Freshman that plays football and basketball for a DII school in NE Ohio. Our goal was to find a partner who could educate our son on proper supplement usage and provide education and guidance on nutrition. In addition, he was recovering from a surgically repaired ligament in his foot (initial return to play was late Feb or early March) and we were looking at ways to improve his recovery time. From the first meeting, Kylene took a detailed, inquisitive, and empathetic approach. She invested time to really know our son, his goals, his challenges, and successes in his recovery. Her credentials speak for themselves, but her authentic and genuine approach to creating a tailored program for our son is what sets her apart. She took detailed notes throughout every conversation and answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. The result: a detailed list of supplements designed specifically for our son's recovery (all vetted and recommended by Kylene and her team), specific food and meal strategies and nutritional information meant to teach him how high performing athletes should eat - Note: it doesn't include chick-fil-a :) and a personalized follow up plan meant to track his progress until the next meeting. ***Our son's surgery was on September 26th and he was cleared to play on December 26th...90 days from the date of surgery and two months earlier than expected. While he attacked his PT, we have no doubt Kylene was able to help expedite his recovery from a cellular level. Not only that but he now has a great foundation that will help him continue to achieve his athletic goals. Kylene is fantastic to work with and I highly recommend FWDFuel for any high school, collegiate, or professional athlete! Don't delay, call her today!

I wanted to submit this review for Kylene and her crew (at FWDfuel) for the amazing job they're doing, helping me resolve my IBS and eczema issues. This is the second time I'm working with them over the past 3 years. First, I worked with Abby for three months and now I'm working with Julia for the past 4 months. Both of them held my (virtual) hand and walked me thru the process of taking care of myself with food thru multiple means. We took gut and bowel as well as food sensitivity testing (see attached picture). I also see an allergist and a GI doctor (bless their souls) who are great too but these ladies work with me day in and day out via their online Healthie app. They taught me how to keep a food diary (see attached) which I've been doing consistently for 3 years and how to rate my IBS on a daily basis. My gratitude list is their too but that's another story! I've been able to ID the foods that hurt me via their food sensitivity testing and my food diary, that they help me decipher. Plus, they helped me ID mold as a culprit in my work life. Just to note, I work overseas in 3rd world countries and I'm only in the US on home leave for 2 months out of the year. It's no problem for them. I do my testing when I'm in the US and everything else is done virtually. And as I previously mentioned my allergist, they've done extensive testing as well and so has my GI doctor but FWDfuel completes the package. I'm golden with their help! I posted a video of me in my prime at 60! I never looked so good. I was 20 pounds heavier and somewhat out of shape but now I'm a well-oiled machine. It's weird to say but most importantly, going to the bathroom is something to look to not dread. FWDfuel ROCKS!

I worked with Abby at FWDFuel to take a deeper look at my hormone levels through supplementation, diet, DUTCH testing, and general lifestyle changes. Over a decade ago (in my 20s), I started looking into my hormone health and was later diagnosed with PCOS. I went to a few different OBGYNs and soon found out that I was going to have to dig deeper myself if I wanted to get into root causes beyond traditional blood testing and standard medication (that never did much for me). I did a lot of research and found things that worked, but I always wanted to get into more thorough testing. I finally took that step with Abby and it was such a great investment for my health. Abby interpreted my DUTCH test, bloodwork/additional hormone testing, and nutrition and could suggest things for my overall health that I wasn't even thinking about before (gut health was a big one). I noticed after 4-6 weeks of diet and supplement changes that I had a lot more inflammation than I realized and to live without that felt wonderful. I'm still learning, but Abby gave me great tools, explained everything to me clearly and concisely, and stream-lined my supplements immensely. I plan on working with her again to check in with my hormone levels and optimize my hormone health going into the second half of my 30s and beyond. Thanks so much for all that you do at FWDFuel! I highly recommend Abby if you want to optimize your health.

Kylene and the team at FWDfuel have helped me FINALLY feel like myself again.

I have struggled with fatigue, brain fog, bloating and IBS for over a decade. I’ve worked with multiple doctors, nurses and dietitians through both traditional methods, functional medicine, etc. I’ve tried various tests, elimination diets, exercise, meditation, medication, and supplements. While some have helped slightly nothing truly made me feel like myself again. If the fatigue was reduced, the bloating would still be there. If the bloating and IBS improved, the brain fog would still be there, etc.

I reached out to Kylene after hearing that there was a specific test for Inflammation that she was certified to run. I had met Kylene when she was a dietician with a functional medicine team. Kylene set up a meeting with me to talk a bit more about my challenges and what I had tried since she and I last met. We ultimately determined that the root cause of my problems was a deep exposure to mold.

Kylene was conscientious of the time and money I had put into trying to improve my health over the past 10+ years and she worked closely with me in that first session to dig into the root and then seek out what made the most sense for my treatment (and what would be the most cost effective). Kylene showed that she genuinely cared about my progress and wasn’t just there to provide a “quick fix” and make a profit.

Kylene was always willing to help explain “the why” for any treatment and why potentially some of my previous attempts with elimination diets, etc. had not worked. I appreciated the time that Kylene spent to make sure I truly understood why we were completing each step of the program and why certain supplements were needed.

Kylene was empathetic as I experienced some unexpected family health problems during our 3 month package and she worked with me to redesign the program so that I could be successful. After even just a month of working with Kylene, I felt like a different person. I was happier, my energy was back, and my gut was starting to feel better (FINALLY). Now that I’m through 3 months of my program with Kylene, I feel even better. I am moving more quickly when I play tennis, my brain feels more alert at work and at home, my gut feels much more healed and overall, I just feel happier and more comfortable.

I am incredibly grateful for Kylene and her team. To be able to feel like myself again has truly been a gift. I missed who I was and how I felt before mold and fatigue took over and working with Kylene helped me finally break the cycle and feel...

I have been working with Abby for the past 6 months and it has been a game changer for me. I am currently a sophomore Division 1 swimmer at a major university. I battled illness and fatigue my entire freshman season due to the stress and training demands. By the end of the season I had severe fatigue, bloating, inflammation and my body would not recover from the intense training. I was diagnosed with optic neuritis. After seeing several specialists with no answers, I sought help from Abby. After my first detailed session, she recommended further testing and suggested a possible diagnosis. Well her hunch about my condition was correct - I had an active Lyme infection. Abby recommended a supplementation and nutrition plan to support my recovery, training and address my Lyme infection. I worked with a sports nutritionist in High School and my freshman year in college through the university. My work with Abby was different. She looked at the athlete dining menus to build my plan down to what I should eat and the quantity of each food on my plate. She mapped my food intake and snacks to my training schedule. I don’t have to think about when and what to eat as she has simplified this for me with her suggestions at each meal and snack break. It is easy for me as I don’t have the extra time to plan and meal prep. She has taught me how to read labels and shop for groceries. I no longer have to worry if I am getting enough protein as I know if I follow her schedule I have what I need to fuel my body for training and recovery. I am almost finished with my supplements to address the Lyme infection and have just started my sophomore season. I feel better, have more energy and am seeing the benefits of the right nutrition being am integral part of my swimming. My bloating and inflammation are gone. We continue to adjust my nutrition and supplementation based on my recovery. Abby will continue to be a part of my athletic journey as the work I am doing with her is now an integral part of my training. Abbys guidance and wellness program will continue to be my game changer in the...

I am a 52 years old female from Dallas, TX, and over the last eight years, I have continued to gain weight despite all the exercise and what I thought was good eating. (MENOPAUSE) Yes, every doctor I went to would tell me there was not much I could do it’s menopause, eat better, and exercise. I was, and still nothing. I felt frustrated and defeated after trying to eat how I was being told and adding more workouts. So I changed my mindset to wanting to focus on being healthy, and not focus on weight—After reading about the importance of gut health and seeing how it changed my daughters, after working with Abby Grimm, I reached out to Abby, and I am so thankful I did. She was so kind, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Through the process, I realized I had lost my knowledge of the foods I needed to eat and fell prey to the fads and trends for a quick fix when all it was doing was harming my overall health. I told her I would trust the process. She ordered tests, and we found my gut was NOT balanced, so we started with some supplements and dietary changes to fuel my body. She had so much knowledge even before the test came in that she had an idea of what was going on just from our first conversation. Fast forward, Abby is family because she cares so much. For the first time in eight years, I have been consistently losing weight each week, and I do not have inflammation that I didn't even know I had because I had lived with it for so long. In the first month, my mobility improved, I was losing weight, and I was not white-knuckling it to my next meal. I feel satisfied and excited about each day. Three months later, I am still losing each week, my energy is up, and I am excited about eating without guilt. I have been so impressed and cared for I will be using Abby to continue to check what she recommends and stay on the path of good health so I can continue living an active, pain-free...
