Today's experience was very normal for this costco and it was a lot faster thanks to the automatic cashier, I belive they should add a few more. It was harder to find stuff today since they moved a lot of things around, I found dog food next to the cakes but I also found dog food where the dog food is supposed to go. idk why they have more dog food in a seperate far away place. Confusing ik... Sadly there are a lot less books(only children books, cooking, religions and politics) and I wasn't looking for movies but I don't remember seeing any at all.why don't they sell dubbed Japanese manga? It might be an idea but it's not good or bad, just like graphic novels and comics it might be an improvement idea but that's it. There's less variety than before, the biggest thing costco has over all the other stores in this region is that is has a lot of stuff and a variety of it, it doesn't feel like a costco if it doesn't have that. Games? I have not seen any inside the store, not that I was looking for any since this region no longer sells video games and its ONLY best buy(currently and only 2 best buy stores in the entire country), they monopolized the gaming stock to the full price and never lower them, not only they have almost no competition since walmart also has a few games but also the under average quality same prices( I did find discounts in walmart from time to time, I don't dislike that). There USED TO BE video games in Costco a few years back; now it's just disappointing to talk about his topic. Selling one or 2 consoles and also from 4 different to no video games isn't cutting it. Stop selling games if that's the motivation for it over here. The monitors are almost to none in stock but the shipping and handling goes over $50 which is insane over here. Why costco? Only to PR and very few others you give shipping and handling prices that are over the top. I can't think of anyone buying or ordering stuff online, the shipping alone is a turn off. Yay, they sell batteries just like every store over here. Yeah it's not Costco "exclusive"... does that even exist here anymore? Amazon ships cheaper and obviously free shipping with prime, might as well get it there? Other than what I mentioned, it is still very average and not as good as before. I know things are bad over here but costco is a private company they should know how to deal with stock and what people want. Not take it away for scraps, that's just sad. And no this isn't because of covid, all of what I have mentioned has occured over the years and it is still the same today. 5 stars? It's barely joke at this point. It's a lot worse if u compare it to a few years back; like 7 years, in the sense of what I mentioned. If what u want isn't in stock just buy it online at a very unreasonable shipping price compared to every other state, yeah.. might as well say buy it elsewhere.
Costco is fast, good prices, lots of stock and a variety of products, also has good warranties, now Costco is taking away lots of their old insurance, old as in no more. U can see why I put 2 stars, the third one wasn't there for PR. Surprisingly, if you call the store they do answer, it's a good...
Read moreThumbs down for "Carolina" -- Member's Services Supervisor.
At checkout today I was told I had rewards to collect and I should go to the Members desk to get those, in cash. I asked if that amount could simply be deducted/applied to my register total -- this one or the next one -- and they said no, it had to be cash (doesn't make sense, inconvenient for me, the customer).
After waiting 45 minutes in line, I finally got to agent to get my 2% cash reward. I showed her my Costco card (which has my picture) and a picture of my driver's license on my phone (which also has my picture). She called "Carolina" the Supervisor. Carolina's English was poor, but she insisted that I needed to go to my car and get my physical ID for them to see. I told her that they have two different forms of ID right there with my picture on them -- my Costco membership card and a picture of my driver's license, which obviously matched -- why should I have to go get the physical driver's license from my car? She gave me the bureaucratic NO, and forced me to waste even more time to get my physical ID. It was nonsensical -- obviously I was the person on both my Costco membership card and in the picture of my driver's license which I was showing them... ID verified. But she insisted on making me jump through hoops. Not good service, not good judgement by a supposed "leader."
Leaders are supposed to look at the spirit of policies and processes, not the letter. I expect this kind of nonsensical service at government agencies, but at Costco, a place where I easily spend $1000+...
Read moreCostco in Bayamón is a great place for high-quality goods, electronics, and furniture, with a huge selection and great customer service. One major plus is that they offer home delivery for furniture—I was able to order a sofa and TV online, and both were delivered hassle-free.
Another standout experience was their customer service when our account was hacked. They quickly canceled the fraudulent transactions and issued a new account number without any complications, which was a relief.
As expected, the food court is exactly what you’d find at any Costco worldwide—fast, efficient service with fresh pizza, hot dogs, sandwiches, and more. Their selection of wines and liquors is great, and the fresh produce and meats are top-notch. They also have excellent prepared meals, which are perfect for busy families looking for easy meal solutions.
The biggest downside is how crazy busy this location is almost all the time. The parking lot is a nightmare, always packed, with bottlenecked entrances and exits that make getting in and out stressful—especially on Saturdays and Sundays. If you can, shop on weekdays, right before opening, or on Friday/Saturday evenings when crowds are lighter.
Overall, a fantastic Costco location with great selection, service, and convenience, but the crowds and parking situation knock off one star. Plan your...
