The hospital er called MedFleet for transport to another hospital. The transport was fine and there’s no complaints with the transport service. We received a bill for charges from MedFleet. One week after receiving the bill, we had a phone call wanting to know when payment would be made. Explained we will pay after our insurance sends us an eob statement. The response was that she would ( and did ) email us an eob from our insurance so we could see it and pay. Preferring to get our eob from our insurance, and only having the bill a week we thought that was the end of it. No, we received two more phone calls asking when they can expect payment. As it turned out, we had to be reissued an eob. Sent in payment as soon as we received it. The last phone call came about 3 days after we mailed the payment. I told her I mailed it and they should already have it or it should be in today’s mail. We were kind with her on each call and she was also. This time, I politely told her I was not happy to have received a phone call asking about payment when we only had the bill one week. She quickly was on the defense and said she never asked for payment and only wanted an address confirmation with that first call and they weren’t a collection agency. Already on the defense, she sounded rehearsed, and didn’t want to hear anything after she told me that. Hmm, we were indeed asked when we were going to pay on all three calls ! If you didn’t ask for payment, why did you call...
Read morehave used them, have no other choice ... mother is in asst living .. used 5 times,, the first time the driver over stopped at a red light , backed up hit the car behind us.. second was good, this last time took them over 2 hours to pick my mother up from her Drs appointment. The Drs office closed at 5, the man showed up at 640. Thank God the asst at the Dr office stayed with us. My mother was with out importation meds which included much needed pain meds, she was in a lot of pain, hungry, and had an accident she was forced to sit in for over an hour, the Dr office called them 4 times, I called once. Med Flet really needs to look at what they are booking, if they cant handle the traffic of appointments then dont over book, give the Dr offices and caregivers a heads up when running late. Telling me your behind and busy doesnt fo anything for me, if your growing pains hurt the people that PAY your company and pay checks dont over book , youll find words spreads fast. Ill rather pay a CNA to asst me with my mother in and out of my suv than use your service again.. She has two more appointments next week.. thats 100.00 i would have paid , at total of 150 this month... I also tip out your drivers.... Im giving two starts because the one service was good... your dealing with peoples lives ,,,...
Read moreWorst ambulance experience ever! Had to have my 2 year old daughter who was in acute respiratory distress from pneumonia and Rhinovirus transported to another hospital. Ambulance took 2 hours to arrive then the guys never even checked on her or got vitals the entire 45 minute ride. They failed to hook my daughter up to much needed oxygen until I asked them too after 10 minutes of staring at the guy buried in his tablet. Meanwhile my daughter is gasping for air and crying the whole time. Just when I think it's over this company thinks it's ok to charge people $19.50 per mile for gas.....my ambulance bill was more than my hospital bill for 3 nights! Oh and the most they can give you is three months to pay it before sending it to collections. Just add financial stress for terrible service forced on us by the hospital. How do you people...
