Mexican Cravings Restaurant — Restaurant in Bayonet Point

If I could I would give service a 4 and three quarters. Was treated like family when I came in the door, no passiveness at all. Food came out quicker then you can shake a stick at, but was not hot. But was very good. Building is completely covered in gorgeous paint and decoration and soothing music and even entertaining tv. The only reason they lost a quarter of a star for service is I spoke to a kitchen employee and asked; "tú tienes bachata?" And was responded to with "no hables Ingles". This response seems to be a phenomenon not at this restaurant but all over Florida amongst Latin people. Not sure why or how you heard English when I spoke to you in Spanish. Maybe, possibly this is a passive way of letting people know they don't like to be stereo typed that they do not speak English, which is understandable. But if that is the case, aren't you doing the same thing to me by assuming I don't speak Spanish ? So, not sure , but other then the food and the misunderstanding, this place is wonderful and I would love to bring family here to eat or go on a date here. It's a bit pricey but...

This is the first and last time I'll eat here. Sadly I wasn't happy with the food at all. It has ZERO FLAVOR and honestly it just wasn't good. For the price of it at least it should taste good. No taste at all. I came here because of their food truck food there's great! But not in the restaurant. Our food was burnt and gross. The guy working here was very nice HOWEVER... The Owner was not. He flat out REFUSED to refund any portion of my money! He actually thinks I'm going to come back and try again...NOT!! Save your money and cook at home I bet you can add more flavor to the food than they did. But I'm upset with the owner and his customer service skills. A customer is always right in my book. I would think he would rather have a happy customer than an upset one that will tell everyone they know not to come here! Just a waste of time and money so don't...

Had a very bad experience lasted 2 days I DoorDash from them and items was incomplete I called the lady the answers the phone tells me oh I can’t get in communication with the store come back tomorrow at 6 and I’ll have what u Oder and give you a free one for the mistake the next day I go and in. I Oder more food and they don’t have the fresas con leche so they ended discounting the 8 dollar from my food and gave me a mangonada well after I get home they had gaved me the wrong food I called she says send me your cash app ill return all your money and never send it mean will I just lost 60 dollar and dint eat the food because it smelled really bad the stake smell like it been there all day never again ill go there that man that they have cooking don’t know what he doing and poor...
