China Express (in Hudson) — Restaurant in Florida

Ordered delivery for a group of 4 people. I never ordered from this restaurant before. One guest wanted bourbon chicken, I did not have a menu nor did I know the menu. Turns out the staff didn't know the menu either, so the order process took way too long. I was told the large bourbon chicken only fed 2 people but that turned out not to be true and worse, way worse. The bourbon chicken was so old it was chicken jerky. The white rice was so soggy it was grainy paste. The kindergarten glue taste better and had a better texture than the white rice. That easily fed all four people with plenty left over considering it wasn't eatable. I have included picture of the left overs. The sweet and sour chicken was ok, it was room temperature but eatable. Egg rolls was good and all were eaten with appreciation. I don't eat pork but the guest said the pork fried rice was good even though not much of it was eatin. Plenty of sauce. Lots of sauce. The bill was 51.00 plus tip and I really felt like for 51.00 they just sent us the stuff they were going to put in the trash. Now because there was more than one person there from more than one household, I expected to be able to look at the cost per item, they refused to give me the itemised receipt claiming that was for their records only. Unlike other chinese restaurants I have ordered from they also refused to give me a menu where I could have seen the cost of each item. The driver complained about delivering to a dead end street really not even taking notice he was on a private road. In the next food emergency for a group of people craving orient style food, I will try some place else. I will never use this...

So honestly I don't even know where to start I have been ordering the same combination platter for the last few years and from multiple restaurants if you look it up you will see the shrimp is not supposed to have any type of fishy smell and if it is smelling stronger fish to dispose of it immediately the smell of this combination shrimp platter was overwhelming it was rotten shrimp and it was a complete hassle to get my money back beware of this place and do not order from here. I have already started to get sick and started to vomit and I have everything on camera at my work I really wish I could play a video on here the guys literally trying to convince me that there is no smell when the smell is so overpowering that the other customer in my store could even smell fish from all the way on the other side of the store I am on my way to the hospital to make sure that I am not have any type of food poisoning I thought I should write this waiting for my ride to be aware of any people trying to order food from here I know their sister restaurant has been shut down by the Board of Health multiple times . I am definitely glad that I have to carry my own food license and I have all this on camera and can prove to the Board of Health at this place is not fit or safe to serve food that will be my next phone...

We ordered dinner from China Express in Hudson tonight, because the atmosphere inside is terrible. I am not exaggerating when I say it was THE ABSOLUTE WORST CHINESE FOOD I HAVE EVER TASTED IN MY LIFE. We have ordered from here before and the food was OK, but not great. The rice NEVER HAS VEGETABLES AND NEVER TASTES FRESH. BUT ALL OF THE FOOD TONIGHT WAS SPOILED BY WHATEVER OIL THEY USED TO COOK THIE FOOD WITH. IT TASTED OLD STALE AND RANCID. WE WERE AFRAID WE WOULD GET SICK SO WE THREW THE FOOD IN THE GARBAGE WITHOUT EATING IT. ALSO, THE DELIVERY PERSON FORGOT THE SAUCE FOR OUR EGG FOO YOUNG AND WENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS WHEN SHE WAS DELIVERING THE FOOD. WE HAD TO FIND HER TWO DOORS DOWN.
