I visited Family Wellness Clinic & Urgent Care in the middle of the night for a medical emergency, and i can not speak highly enough about the professionalism and dedication of the staff and doctor on duty.Despite the waiting room being full, the care provided was nothing short of world-class. While i was there, I witnessed the doctor handle a particularly stressful situation with a young boy who was in severe pain. The childs parents were understandably frantic and shared that they had already spent five hours at a nearby emergency room without receiving the hlep they needed. In stark contrast, the doctor at this urgent care swung into action immediately, treating the boy before the mother even finished the nessary paperwork. It was clear that patient care - not bureaucracy or payment - was the clinic's top priority. The entire staff demonstrated compassion and efficiency, creating a calm and reassuring environment despite the busy night. The clinic operates with a patient-first philosophy that is rare to find these days. Every step, from the check-in process tot he actual treatment, was handled with expertise and care. I was also impressed by how clean and well-maintained the facility was, even during a late-night rush.. The team managed to balance professionalism with warmth, ensuring that every patient felt seen and cared for. This clinic accomplished in minutes what a larger emergency room failed to do in hours. If your looking for a facility that truly prioritizes patient care and satisfaction, Family Wellness Clinic & Urgent Care is the place to go. I am incredibly grateful for their help and would recommend them to anyone in need of immediate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDonāt claim to be a family practice if you donāt actually see children. I called ahead and was told they see kids, so I brought my 13-year-old in for a bite that looked infected. When I arrived, the man at the front immediately told me to go to after-hours pediatrics. I explained it was already 10:40 p.m., that place closes at 11, and I was 15 minutes away. His response? āItās not 11 yet.ā
I reminded him that I had called and was told they take children, and that it was just a bite I wanted looked at. Instead of helping, he asked what insurance I had. I told him I was paying cash, and he still told me to go elsewhere.
Extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Certainly not somewhere Iād ever recommend to anyone.
Update to the response from the location: Your public response does not reflect what happened during my visit. I called ahead and was told you see children. I arrived with my 13-year-old for a bite that was getting infected. The lobby was not busy. The staff member did not begin check-in and instead directed us to After Hours Pediatrics. When I said they close at 11:00 p.m. and it was about 10:40 p.m., he repeated that we should go there; even when I offered to pay cash, we were still turned away. We then went to the ER. AS STATED EVEN AFTER STATING I WILL PAY CASH I WAS TURNED AWAY! Also you canāt confirm I called if you donāt have my number to confirm. Please stop suggesting you started intake or that we declined careāneither is true. If needed, your cameras/audio should confirm the conversation. Iām sharing this so families know what to expect and so the clinic can address front-desk triage and clearly state whether pediatric patients...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot open as advertised. Made an appointment, office was locked and closed. Edit: make sure you speak to this office before wasting your time going in the early morning or evening. I did document my experience in the event I was charged for missing the appointment. (Video, screen shots of me calling several times with no answer while I was outside) I was NOT charged and they did reach out MANY times to try to make it up to me for an edited review, they even offered a gas card to do so. Contacted me so many times in fact, I had to block several numbers they were calling and texting from. The office was definitely persistent in trying to correct the issue. I understand their urge to get the best reviews possible, however continued contact after several requests to stop was a little intimidating. My entire point of my review was to let people who may be feeling bad to take the time to call before you go. Turn off open sign, leave a voice mail on your phone system, or even out a sign on the door. My advice to them would be, if you can't be open find a way to let patients know as well as ceasing contact when requested. I added a star for their effort to remedy the situation. I'm not a disgruntled person nor will I benefit from lying about the experience. As a matter of fact, I give so many more positive reviews than mediocre or negative. Honesty and integrity go so much further. Best of luck to them...
