Cortland Lanes — Local services in Bazetta Township

I called in and ask if we could bring my son and some friends for a small birthday party without buying a party package they said yes I even ask about ordering pizza from them. The day of the party we got there while waiting on the rest of the party I was approached by the owner multiple times asking when the rest of the party would be there. I didn't know. My kids were playing pool waiting and I was told by owner that he couldn't hold the lane much longer because he had reservations! There were 3other party's going on but plenty of open Lanes. They over booked party's and that was the problem.I told him I couldn't get ahold of the others so he said well I have reservations coming in! I packed my kids up and turned in the shoes and my daughter who is 23 came in just as we were leaving and was saying to me how this is rediculs because we called and he should have reserved Lanes for us because he knew we were coming! He followed my daughter outside to try and argue with her! Very unprofessional and not a way to get repeat business.This place will never get my business! I called champion Lanes and he welcomed us over even tho they only do party's on Sunday! If u bowl here u better not take a break or ur time or God forbid wait on others to show because u will...

Definitely fun and well worth what we spent for the games, MOST of the staff was pretty friendly, unfortunately though not all of the experience was good. I'll start off by giving the bartender/kitchen guy credit, that was a lot to deal with nearly by himself, but that doesn't excuse when there is a line of people who have been waiting to order and he skips the line to help someone who JUST walked up to the bar and continue to avoid the line. Also when I ordered food it took 45 minutes and my friends who all ordered AFTER me to get their food first, I was told only after asking a half hour later that my food was messed up. I literally gave 3 people my order and it was still wrong causing the right food to show up AFTER we were done playing. Also if you're in a pay for an hour situation maybe don't make people wait 20 minutes in line and ignore them, that wasn't a fair use of our play time, but I will give credit again, there were a lot of people who were waiting to order after us as well and I know that can both be overwhelming and can cause frustrations in multiple ways, just please have the right attitude about it, when I asked about my pizza I was given a "so what" attitude. Again, definitely fun, just frustrating...

Arrived early at a slot we reserved for cosmic bowling. The man behind the counter said he was running behind by 15mins. So we waited, meanwhile people came in the door and started to get shoes to bowl while we wait for him to acknowledge us. He completely ignores us. We walked up and asked him when we can bowl and he says we have to wait an hour. They were booked. He was well aware we had already checked in. Never made it right and was rude. No one had kids so it made me believe it was because we had young kids. Which he was completely aware of. So we ended up having to leave. Our kids were so sad. Our daughter left in tears. Thanks alot! Horrible...
