Went there yesterday because of the reviews and I wanted to check the place out. First time. Initial reaction was that the salon needed a face lift. The carpet is dated, the chairs and stations are old and worn, lots of nail polish stains, dust all over the lamps. Hasn't been kept up very well. Needs money reinvested on the inside of the place really bad. There were 3 or 4 old cups with spoons on the half wall next to me. I got a pedi done to just test the place out because you can tell a lot just by seeing how they operate and clean their chairs especially when theres feet involved, which can be nasty. Right away there was no tub liner or disinfectant tabs. Gross. So I prayed I wouldnt get a skin infection and continued with the service because maybe they wiped it down after? The girl did an ok job, I wish my cuticles were pushed down a bit more but not a big deal. She wore gloves, but what bothered me was that she would touch my feet, and rummage through her drawer touching stuff after touching....my feet so now that's contaminated and then she walked away with the same gloves and went to the sterilizer and was rummaging through steri-packs of tools with dirty foot gloves which those tools are going to be used on other people :) what happened if I had a skin condition? Now lots of people have it too! So I finished. Waiting for the polish to dry and in the corner, my nail lady was digging into a bag of chips while on her phone. She told me 5 mins and she would check on me to leave. I waited 10 mins and decided I was done and got up. Almost slipped getting out of the chair to get my sandals on. I can see why people like this place, the people are personable and want to get to know you and it's small enough to be able to do that, they seem nice for the most part. I really wanted to like this place but it's a no from me. Cleanliness is very important to me and I was grossed out the entire time. Oh and, the tub wasnt wiped down like I thought it would be at the end and the plug on the inside of the tub wasnt removed to be sterilized or switched out with a clean one. So if you go here, know that youre putting your feet in a cesspool of bacteria. And the cherry on top was that the scrub sponge or whatever that was just used on my feet was washed with water only and thrown back into the drawer. I'll be going...

Services I received today were, basic gel pedicure (listed online as $30), and a gel fill (listed on business website as $35). Total changed was $104.00 (including the merchant service charge of $4).
Pricing Pro: Online pricing appears to be competitive and reasonably priced.
Pricing Con: Online pricing did not reflect the overall charge for the services rendered.
Service Nail Pro: The owner did my nails and even offered to fix a pinky nail free! The nails looked beautiful when finished.
Service Nail Con: I was over charged for the service by $15.00.
Cleanliness is over good
Service Pedicure Basic Pro: Online pricing appeared extremely reasonable at $30.
The finished results were alright.
Service Pedicure Basic Con:
Over charged for the basic package (listed online and within the salon package list).
Salon appears to itemize service without notice to the client prior to performing the service (IE: cut toenails as apart of pedicure packing?).
Gel polish is an extra fee not listed or advertised anywhere within the website or salon package list.
I want to ensure folks understand what the two stars are for, since the finished product looked good and I was offered a promissory reimbursement of $15 for the next service... Being over charged Having been lied to about who owns the business (Steve) over the phone when inquiring about my concerns.
Hopefully this helps individuals manage expectations prior...
Read moreFirst of all I want to state that I am a licensed cosmetologist. I went to natural nails couple of days ago to get a lip wax and the first strip she put on was perfect. I feel the need to add that when you put on wax, you're supposed to go with the hair growth and then when you tear the wax strip off you go against the hair growth. Well on the left side she put the wax on against the hair growth which then resulted in my whole left side of my lip not being waxed. NO HAIR CAME OFF AT ALL! I left and I tipped her as I normally do she never handed me a mirror to look I had no idea what happened when I when I got home I realize though. I couldn't make it back for a couple days because I work in Fairfax so I wouldn't of been there by the time they close. Finally I went back just last night and I asked them to go ahead and fix the wax well she comes in and start saying "oh it's because you're too hairy." Now I don't like to complain, but I've NEVER been insulted like that! I paid her and I tipped her and she did not finish the job it's not because I'm too hairy it's because of the way she apply the wax and I try to explain this to her and she just kept ignoring me and she did it again again no hair came off she showed me the wax strip and I said "it's because you're doing it wrong !" I HATE to be this person, but they charged me again, not full price but I shouldn't have to pay, because I shouldn't have had to go back! Horrible! I doubt she has her license! The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the man who rang me...
